You get your two items which you need to build up which gives you the most mana first and then start building your tankier mana items. It just so happens that his two most mana heavy items also give AP. You don't want to start buying a rod/tears 20-30 minute into the game. I agree he maybe could have gotten an FH instead of finishing his seraphs but oh well.

It's Mancloud and Bloodwater doing amazing stuff with those ults. Yeah but that's not just this game. It's EVERY game. It's just super strange to watch... They always have an advantage but it always seems like they got it in this really crazy way. I guess that's what I mean. They're just a really scrappy team, and its weird that they can be consistently successful with that sorta style.

Mancloud and bloodwater are absurdly strong as playmakers, zuna/sid really don't often have to do much except follow up what mancloud and bloodwater set up and xmithie tends to find himself getting everything in position for mancloud/bloodwater.

However at the end of the game he had not begun building a single defensive item and was the first one to be blown up just about every fight, contributing pretty much nothing but one snare to any of them. Hmm...that was overly snarky. I apologize. Kiwikid had no gold. Dig kept losing team fights with no kills and he couldn't split push. He had no money for defensive items.

They try to out play their opponents, rather then waiting for their opponent to make a mistake. Like what Artosis said "Rely on yourself being better, not your opponent being worse." It is the proper way to play, though you need to actually have the skill to back it up (this is probably why koreans just run around the map shitting on people).

It's why you can't really bet on them to perform the same way all the time. It's definitely weird because it's not something that usually works, and it shows when they play against stronger teams.
