I don't understand this team. At all.
They are russian, will anyone ever understand them?
I think what they did wrong in group, was mainly team fight coordination. Alex+diamond attacking back line, genja+darien+gosu attacking front line.

Really love how they had the Twitch chat blocked apart from brief game updates/analysis from Snoopeh, e.g.
Snoopeh: The early inhibitor from Frost meant that Gambit getting the Baron was slightly nullified. However it did give them loads of global gold and a chance to farm in their base. » That Crescendo was excellent. Edward patiently waited until he seen Frost grouped. KhaZix had excellent positioning knowing exactly when to go in and out. » Guardian Angel down on Evelynn, 2 Guardian Angels up on Gambit.. Frost need to avoid fighting. » That's going to be game. In an attempt to prevent the Baron - Frost forced themselves into a team fight where there items meant they were behind. Congratulations to Gambit Gaming taking the series. » taking the first game* » oops » This game was more about items than team composition, impressive by both teams.
The first time I haven't hidden chat, heh; hope they do something similar in future for those of us with sound muted.

Everyone went Randuins anyway. You saw him lose a duel against Graves 1v1 (graves would have won straight up had alex not shown up) even though he had an advantage in health afaik
That's only because Ezreal built a BV where as graves built a Randium, if you swap those the outcome would be the exact opposite. heck, if ezreal built randium instead of bv he'd win that dual easily

basically, attacking a tanky team doesn't mean you can't kill them, just that it takes longer, and if you don't die in the mean time you still win the team fight.

I wonder what % magic damage Alex Ich's Kha'Zix was doing with Muramana procs & his passive? Was def. chunking Singed more heavily than I'd have expected.

Should be done much more often, and extended with even more analytical commentary.

One thing I don't like about AZB in the first game was 2 def items on Graves. I mean with only 3 offensive items you can't do any damage to the tankiness of M5. I should have went to IE instead of a Warmog. But with max build KZ and a Xin, without defensive items he's just going to explode before doing any damage. Imo, a Randuin or a Warmog is enough not both of them. Without an IE in really late game, Graves is kind of useless. Anyway, AZF team comp late game can't compare to M5 late game.

So if you don't die and you kill enemy you win fight? lol

they had 2 hours planned to play a bo3. they would be hard pressed to make that with just a 2-0.

SO much fun to watch, great! I actually dislike it because of the emphasis it puts on belt items. Randuin's and warmogs are pretty much mandatory, with sunfire being a nice, if midgame-centered because of slot-efficiency, third one. So far we saw near nigh variety in builds and though teamfights last kinda long, I'd rather have a 10+ seconds fight relying on clutch key skills coming off cooldown and positioning, rather than people just running around because the amount of damage they do is so low. There's a difference between "not getting an ace in 2s from stacking AoE" and "not doing damage so it takes ages to die". :/ I don't hate it on the principle. But it really starts to tire me because of the scale it's reaching.
Maybe I'd agree with you if it stays that way. However, for me it is a welcome relief compared the the boring 'press R and stack ultimates until everyone melts' strategy. And I feel like it makes clutch ultimate use even more necessary (Sona's / Xin's come to mind).
But yeah, Giant's Belt is a staple for a lot of standard defensive items and with Warmog's it's too strong right now (but I guess Riot already admitted that and is going to tweak this irrc). But maybe this wouldn't be a problem if 'real' APs would be played more often which they currently are not because of the strong AD casters (Kha'zix is ridicoulus on this patch). That way, a Singed couldn't just stack armor + HP and have 200+ armor left after LW penetration, thus overall champs would die faster again.

No, he just have to be protected (which is not hard with amumu, singed and blitz). He was completly useless in this game with his shiv / BT / LW.

I really wish S3 moves away from this bruiser & belt/warmog stacking; it's really making the games less interesting to watch relative to S2

When such things are mentioned in editorials no one gives a shit, when Snoopeh does it's "omg amazing analysis" top thread on Reddit.

you have obviously the thought : a dead carry doesnt do dmg, which is correct but you can turn it around: a carry which does no dmg doesnt matter if hes dead or alive so yes get defensie items but this was just overkill and it was a factor for the outcome of the game

I think it makes for more interesting teamfights because the champs are lasting longer

Bah all of you calling GG as m5 still are missing out. When they win a game, you can just be like "GG GG!". It's so perfect. Why waste it?!
