I have to say, I'm still impressed by the Eve + Split Push combination. It's bad enough worrying about Shen knocking at your door, but being the guy who goes to stop him and having to worry that Eve might make a surprise appearance? Sick.

They didn't have much choice seeing that Cait hit her lategame during Vayne's barely-midgame. Lategame Cait is probably better than lategame Vayne. At the very least, she is safer and will reliably do damage even if she gets a bad engage (see all fights). Explain to me how Fnatic did not has much choices? Cait were ahead but not that ahead (she was up 30cs compare to vayne) at the time of the mid tower dive. That dive made no sense at all while you can just split push all day with a farmed Shen(Shen was like 1 kill ahead of Irealia and up in cs too) Fnatic dove cait and failed, resulting in a full blow 5v5. Vayne wasn't that far behind in CS, but cait didn't buy any Dorans and had already PD+IE. Vayne at that point had only PD and a BF. So Vayne wasn't behind in gold that much, but a lot in items. Actually you might even say, that this is a result of peke dying to Baron. He lost stacks afterwards and had to replenish them by using feast. If feast would have been availble in the engagement, maybe they could have managed to bring down cait and turned the fight and the game in their favour. Cait was pretty ahead in CS. That and just rushing attack speed kind of dumb even if you maxing Vayne W. Just having a BT and Zeal instead more damage. As someone who plays vayne often I can tell you pd is better.Vayne's attack animation isn't very good and you really need the atk speed to make it more fluent. And since everyone goes for you 24/7 extra ms is always nice :D. I'd almost say everyone always bum rushing you makes BT more valuable, imo. You get that lifesteal, and it makes your Q much much better. The MS nice, but you can't rely on hitting the W proc in a teamfight. I dunno, I dont play Vayne. Just seems dumb to me. I guess it scales with Bonus AD on ult well, but... eh. I'll tests it. What is the point in playing Vayne if you are not going to build to her strengths? You might as well pick literally any other adc if you're just going to build standard. Vayne is one of the few ADCs that scales well off of pure aspd, the other being Kogmaw. I just don't get why he maxed W instead of Q, when he went straight for a PD. The only damage he's doing comes from W cus of his low AD. you max q if you need to farm under tower, you max w if you want to do raw dps
the logic behind phantom dancer is not so much q but rather her ultimate gives a big chunk of ad and situational move speed

Considering the crowd is always against them, I don't blame them?

oh my fucking god. They really need to fucking TURN DOWN the damn Ad's sound. Like holy shit. Gotta turn up the sound to hear any talking on the stream, but then an ad comes on and BAM SPEAKERS BREAK BRO.

It's the last time I watch IPL really, everytime I get those ad my head just hurt.

It's like no one here was around for the CS glory days. Those guys were kak loud, remember sometimes even banter between teams mid game.

I'd much rather have booths than tell the Asian teams to alter the way they communicate. The arguments against booths are so bad it's ridiculous.

TPA... Stahp MiSTakE needs to stop Dora'ing. Toyz should not TF anymore today.

a jason lake style guy in LoL would be hella entertaining

TPA needs to revise its ban strategy for round 2, when Toyz is getting his top 2 AP mids sniped out like that you have to think about countersniping
|
I dunno, I listen to the commentary with my regular sound (which is pretty low, ~14% laptop speakers volume most of the time) so I guess apart from being startled the ads wouldn't be too bad for me.

I guess the main conclusion to take home from this IPL is that the top Asian and top EU teams are actually pretty close skillwise. Many matches could have gone either way tbh. Only NA didn't have a really strong showing here.

What was the name of that champion Rekkles played?

Ori, and Anivia? He's played karthus to pretty good success before, dunno why they want the aggressive tf pick. Just cuz you scrim misaya, doesn't mean you gunna pick up his magical Tf skillz.

TPA's bans should be: Eve/Lee Sin/Rengar IMO fk everything else

My guess is that they're apprehensive about picking Karthus because xPeke's comfort champs cover several good counterpicks to Karthus, and they're not comfortable with Toyz' ability to come out ahead.
Except when WE dealt with the same scenario, they just said "fuck it", and picked TF into the Diana counterpick and won anyway.

But for some reason when it comes to NA and Asian teams, its a huge disconnect.
CLG.na gave Fnatic run for its money, and some close games against m5. Crs.na beat Crs.eu (winner of tofl) I'm impressed with how close the top of the scene is right now, but Korea didn't really get that big of showing, they pretty much only had Blaze as representation. Eu got a huge amount of representation this tournament.
