Keep the rage to a minimum. This includes wait times between games, music, and balance.
Fair warning to all. |

Yes, Deman used to be amazing at filling and damage control during the Call of Duty 4 tournaments back in the day aswell.

Tons of viewers every night, heated LR threads, etc. Oh wait. But the Azubu the Champions Tournament is a smashing success in Korea, and they already hosted 2 big finals without a hitch. Look, Korea doesn't have the same sort of issues we have here in the US. OGN doesn't deal with the venue network hardware failures that US organizers deal with regularly. OGN broadcasts to television stations, which never happens with US eSports. Valve is a better model for Riot because they are an US company and ran their tournament in the US. There's no excuse for Riot to fail this bad given their financial success, and one hopes they're going to learn a lot from this experience.
You mean riot isn't a US company, running their tourney in the US?

That's the main difference.
And LANs are somehow exempt from hardware issues?

well, at least WE gets away from the ori/malph/sona/cho combo, lol.
a LAN between 9 pcs is easier to find the error for and repair than an internet setup that is streaming to 500k people.

SC2 tournaments like last year used to only have 1 casting pair per stream for the whole day, I think he's almost used to it.

It's internet hardware issue, isn't it ? Anyhow, LAN would have prevent like 99% of the problems we had the last years at events.

@Slasher UPDATE from Riot to @SotLTravis: They will try ONE more time. If it fails, matches will be played out at a different location at a time TBD.
