Dyrus xpecial tells me they're playing ARAM for the finals of MLG.
I mean we're not really that professional but damn we never went that far lol
true words :p

I feel like because of all the backlash now they're trying to make it all better for the people who got really pissed off, but it's kinda hard at this point because everyone already knows they don't care and there's nothing in it for either of them.
Edit: Haha Dyrus, too true. As far as unprofessionalism goes, TSM usually takes the cake.

I wonder if the Korean teams watched that game and what went through their minds.

Scarra please play Katarina.... >_<
I think there is actually a chance that he will pick her. I vaguely remember him saying something that he doesn't want to play the new Kat on stream partially because he doesn't want to get familiar with the new Kat when MLG uses the old Kat.
One can hope!!!

This is an absurdly boring game.

Adam Apicella @MrMLGAdam The point was, my main stage is sacred. competition is sacred. It was an example of the competitive nature we expect.
MLG not amused

It's clear someone stepped in and said something after that game. Playing an ARAM for the finals directly damages MLG product because they want people to buy their subscriptions. This argument that viewer count went up because it was an ARAM is another case of correlation != causation -- there was going to be an increase in viewer count because it was the finals.

Elementz didn't get any ults off in the last 2 teamfights. Sort of the reason why they lost them.

I'm curiosu. The these teams are playing on Tournament Realm with infinite RP and stuff. So why don't they use skins? :<

When QTpie does well, Dignitas wins games.

Really nice play by qt there.

Maybe not allowed from MLG? There were quite a lot of skins at Gamescom.

Sorry I dont see them as competitors anymore. competitors not giving their best in a finals
how does this make MLG look like?
Calm down. SC2 has done things like this as well. Naniwa lost his spot in GSL over this. He never had the spot. I've tuned into LoL on and off all week, it's interesting, I've been interested in playing it casually cause I can't play intensive games anymore, but the only issue here is that they're splitting the money. Don't split the money, just play without revealing your strats, ARAM or not. Splitting money is just so disgraceful and has gotten people kicked and permanently banned from tournaments. I have no problem with ARAM. The teams are in a situation in which they have to hold back strats. Understandable, but splitting prize money is a big no.
He actually did have a seed in code S (as GOMTV gave it to him like the do to people every year) but after the probe rush against Nestea they revoked the decision. Do research next time..
We don't believe that winning games and getting prizes make you a pro-gamer. We think that pro-gaming as a vocation should be about gamers competing for the victory, for the audience so they would get excited, and in all that, players job is to compete for the victory through that. We gave the seed to Quantic Gaming's protoss pro-gamer NaNiwa, not the Swedish youth Johan Lucchesi who plays the game well."
Official statement by Mr Chae (head of GOM)
Theres the proof he was given the seed.
Same thing should happen with this situation. Even though I dont personally watch LoL the blow up on twitter made me come check out the situation and since naniwa was brought up might as well say the proper info instead of the BS you came out with.
If the teams arent willing to try and fight for the win then screw giving it to any of them DQ them both for being unprofessional and be done. Same shit happened in badminton during the olympics.
It's why in SC2 you see koreans fight even when they've pretty much lost. Because they have that much respect for the game and are professional enough to not give up no matter what the situation.

I've heard some pro players say that the sounds and particles of certain skins throws off their rhythm or feel for the champ escpecially using skins that they don't own normally. That's one reason they may not be using them.

Good to see Skarner getting more recognition in tournaments nowadays, a couple months ago he was considered trash tier.

Fiddlesticks skin is a psychological advantage though.
