At any point of IEM Season 6 Championship, if you think of an interesting byline, please drop a sentence in the Pro Scene thread. At the end of the month, I'll catalogue the results of Hannover but also any interesting facts or events that happen over the course of the tournament. Thanks. Neo, 06.03.2012 |

It means M5 is 9-0, undefeated in this tournament. It means they played 17 games at offline events and they won 16 of these. Stop trying to defend US teams just because you live there. MVP to Voyboy is a joke and proves once again how biased the NA community actually is. There is not a single player from M5 who didn't get a 9/10 score in every single game in the tournament, while NA fanboys just went all jizzing about 3 Lee Sin games by Voyboy. It's utterly unreasonable to MVP him for that.
He did more than just those LS games, they are just the quickest example people bring to mind.
You may notice I didn't say anything to the contrary of any of your points, you're just continuing to make mine(except you may actually be balls deep on the m5 dick right about now).

Im sure a lot of europeans would have voted for them, and certainly na players that appreciate superior gameplay.

The mvp vote is the person who playyed the prettiest. No single play on m5 plays pretty, they play effectively. They do not do one thing unless its going to get them the advvaantage. In the games voyboy played, he did carry his team and he played pretty, which is why he deserves the mvp award. And youre acting like this just NA votes. What about eu? Where are all the eu people considering eu has a bigger community

Not sure, Visa always seems the problem with these teams Did they not do qualifiers btw, remember an incredible boring cast of M5 vs some team @ IPL stream.

Also about CLG.eu beating M5 online keep in mind that the pings are like 10-40 vs 100+

Diamond's Lee was a lot about Pepper's Ali roaming with him. Voy's lee was a 1 man wrecking machine. I don't want to understate m5's victory and tourney as a whole, but I think people are about 1 inch short of just deep throating them right now because Dignitas couldn't handle their shit at all. CLG had them dead and fucked up, that doesn't mean m5 is on another level it means CLG fucked up and needs to clean their play up that little bit. Voyboy himself also had nothing to do with d's failures. He played outstanding in every game of the tourney save game2 of this finals where he had a TERRIBLE matchup because his captain decided to not pick Shen.
Sorry, but CLG wasn't about to take the series from M5. It was a best of three and they went 2-0. They could have taken it easily to a third match but they made some mistakes and allowed M5 to come back.
And despite CLG throwing the 2nd match. M5 did play very well and was able to take advantage of CLG's mistakes. Don't misunderstand me. I don't think M5 is unbeatable, but one should give them credit for keeping their cool and managing to stay in the game and win. CLG throwing!!! doesn't really do that match justice imo.

You must hate it when fans cheer for their sports teams, eh? What's wrong with rooting for NA teams? Are they undeserving?

You know that MVP award =/= cheering for your favorite right? It's supposed to be objective.
Would have been funny to see that being awarded to HotshotGG though after throwing semis like that.

That's just a very silly thing to say though, there's been games with people having bad matchups before. Shen vs Irelia isn't even an impossible matchup. That's really just a silly excuse, if he really is that good he should be able to handle a slight matchup disadvantage with heavy jungle support.

It was Nautilus vs Irelia. You don't "lane well" if you just are even in farm without doing anything to deny the Irelia because she's about a hundred times stronger in the lategame.
