At any point of IEM Season 6 Championship, if you think of an interesting byline, please drop a sentence in the Pro Scene thread. At the end of the month, I'll catalogue the results of Hannover but also any interesting facts or events that happen over the course of the tournament. Thanks. Neo, 06.03.2012 |

CLG.eu qualified for Kiev but they were excluded because they swapped 3 players out. CLG.eu is just as solid as aAa , if not more solid. Both are fine to send there tho, altho I really would have loved to see CLG.eu at a big event.

CLG.eu for Alternate is probably the only substitution I would make.

Well it wasn't only the player swap... there's some more drama attached to it. But anyways it sucks, that we don't get to see them play at the event.

CLG.eu played twice against the current lineup of aAa and lost both times.
Here is the reason why AL or CLG.eu couldn't go to Kiev: http://www.mymtw.de/en/article/22937/unser-statement-zu-der-angelegenheit_mtw-und-al-eine-enttuschung.html

They are better than ALTERNATE sure, but they are still a b tier European team until they prove otherwise.
In all honesty, the only euro team that has EVER proven they are capable of beating US teams on a consistent basis is Fnatic. M5 and CLG.EU are too new, so we have to wait to see if they can actually reach A tier EU.

Hopefully they take pros guest commentating when they aren't playing.

It'll probably be hard for Group A since everyone is either playing or prepping for day 2. Maybe we can see some guests starting day 2 or something but it'll most like be a player from a team that didn't make it out of Group A...

I don't know why you saw it necesary to call me a fanboy.. aAa a btier team? I guess I can't fault you for not following the eu scene but then you shouldn't open your mouth so much.
aAa changed their lineup after king of europe. Since then they haven't lost a single bo3 besides the one in the ilpl 4 qualifier. Also they are the team that placed 2nd in the first season final...
aAa a b-tier team... Well this is a na community so whatever.

okay Two Down you seriously don't follow the EU scene at all lol. aAa with nRated and Moma are definitley not a B tier team. They are actually probably the best team in europe at the moment (although with Europe, best teams basically last for around a month before they are replaced lol). People will adjust to the new aAa soon though then they'll just be one of the strongest teams in Europe.
The reason why basically the only team that have seemed to beat US teams is Fnatic is because fnatic is pretty much the only EU team that has stayed together, EU scene has teams forming and disbanding all over the place lol

CLG.EU is the best EU team right now, but aAa was never a B tier team either

I think all players of CLG.eu will be at Hannover, even if they are not playing. Pretty sure Wickd and maybe also others would co-cast if asked.

While in Europe we tend to look more at the current form and capabilities of a team than the past results.
And it is true, the "best" team in LoL changes at least on a monthly basis. Thats why I also think that looking at results from half a year ago does not make much sense.
I also agree that aaa is the best Eu team at this moment, maybe together with CLG.eu.

Oh that's right clg.eu was coming to Hannover to chill out and sell bad information about EU teams, I think it was the whole team planning that. Zenon see if you can catch Snoopeh to cast something!
