[IEM] Kiev Discussion - Page 103
Forum Index > LoL Tournaments |
At any point of IEM Kiev, if you think of an interesting byline, please drop a sentence in the Pro Scene thread. (e.g. "Day 2: M5 hype was everything people expected") At the end of the month, I'll catalogue the results of Kiev but also any interesting facts or events that happen over the course of the tournament. Thanks. Neo, 20.1.2012

If you know enemy team's jungle opens Blue, why would you not try to challenge it at the 2nd spawn? Most teams too lazy zzz

Sona and Shivana roam enemy jungles constantly. There is no such thing as buffs belonging to one team and the mirror ones to the other team. M5 takes them all. AD carry kennen in solo top and bot lane is fine (without support) Solo GP in bot lane vs standard Sivir + Soraka is fine.

With that said, I hope SK turns it around this game

It really pushes up your group power if no one in the team is so squishy they get 100-0ed by an AP combo. Everyone sings praises to armor and resistances (and rightfully so I admit too), but a smidgen of hp on a general level has a tremendous effect on plays at this level. I mean look at the end kill score 16-10 (the most visible thing), looks rather even when you look only that, but the game was totally 1 sided.

They want to make the plays. They want to call the shots. They want you to respond to them. They want you to play by their rules.

The blues will respawn at the same time so you can't exactly safely take yours and steal theirs.

M5 Bans: CassiOPeia, Sona, Rammus SK Picks: Morgana Instalock, Sivir, Soraka M5 Picks: Ryze, Taric, MF, Shyvananana, This Taric+MF line. Isn't that what M5 used to beat TSM over the head?

We haven't seen mutual aggressive before yet, so your point is moot. Aggressive coordinated teams can steal Blue and take their own on 2nd spawn.

Sc2 pros don't prac in monobattles either, they ladder 1v1 or custom their prac partners, to make a rough comparison.
