Kayle's gave you offensive stats from offensive items though =[[ Still salty.

sad thing is that that only makes jax boring useless melee champ number 12. Should just nerf his laning so you have to carry him to his items.
Riot not learning anything.

We'll just have to wait for more info.
I really doubt Riot would let their servers software run on anything but hardware they own, might have been a network issue from IEM however.

You can't possibly argue that Jax has been balanced. He gets like 1-2 early kills and the game is over.

Kills are worth basically 3 times what they are in DotA. One kill = free farm and map dominance.

they just need to nerf his leap damage. he jumps at you for ~30% of your life early game, this is ridiculous.

I'm pretty sure it's IEM's conn at GC. But either way, Riot is the one that's going to get crucified.

There were zero connection or lag issues throughout the whole tournament. The problem was within the tournament server or client and Riot is looking into it and will fix it for the next LoL event.
Edit: RiotMarcou will release a statement regarding this problem when he is back in the States, I believe.

League's biggest downside is the lack of a robust infrastructure in their client. When they first gained like 5 million dollars in financing before the game was even released they said the whole reason they decided to use Adobe Air was for the ease of pushing the game out and updating it without too many issues.
Sure it might be easier to make the game with adobe air but it seems so much harder for them to update and implement new features. They also have stated how there are technological limits on what they can and can't do within the client, they had alot of unique ideas for hero spells but some of them are impossible to implement without lagging up the game client in triggers.
I hope will all the money they are making that they do a ground-up overhaul with a new robust client.

I wonder how the MLG stage will b for League, hopefully they actually have a stage and not just like the old WoW area or the first Sc2 area.
I have a feeling it will be a dingy screen in the corner though, unless Riot is doing the production?

WHY DOES RIOT KEEP THE RESULTS UNSPOILERED ON THE MAIN PAGE? I go to iemgamescom.leagueoflegends.com to catch a restream or vods and the first thing I see is the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners.

I really wish people would stop blaming adobe air for in game issues, air is not even used in the game client process. It used to be very buggy around beta when Riot didn't have experienced adobe air programmers (afaik) but atm its very stable compared to the game client and the server.

Iem networks were having problems all weekend, not sure if the dota 2 lag and issues were there as well. First 3 days only dc was spectator mode though on a brand new tourney client and server, so big props there and for alienware not providing malfunctioning laptops that overheat running lol.

That seems to be the norm for first time mlg games
Although lol will probably have more stream views than their flagship halo.

LoL gets more viewers than SC2 easily, too. (In terms of live audience SC2 is gonna trump everything tho)
