I think that is probably the best standard build. My only change would be to go phage before rylais, then turn that into a triforce eventually. Honestly jax does so much base damage I am considering a heavier tank build. something like wriggles, wits, warmogs. Can't imagine every getting away from a wriggles wits opening though. | ||

Even before his remake I wasnt a big fan of rageblade and I stll dont like it much. jax is fairly bursty since there is no one who is just going to stand there and trade autos with you. Hence charging it up is difficult. Rylais is a fantastic item on him (def better than FM) but I never know the right time to get it because it is so darn expensive. | ||

Rageblade synergizes really well with his new ultimate (and the passive), though. I've never been a big fan of it either, but after these current remakes, I think it's remarkably strong. It's still the most cost-efficient item in the game, after all. (IIRC). | ||

Tbh, jax is a strong enough duelist with any balanced combination of offence+defence items. The more important part of learning him is to figure out how to actually play his laning phase. Can you post a couple of your replays from last patch if you have them USnip? Cuz I have NO idea how to play him in lane. | ||

the game was pretty faceroll in general, but sheen rush does seem strong on jax as his w combined with sheen is insane burst / relatively cheap mana cost wise | ||

Then he grabbed vamp scepter and a sheen. He got soloed by the irelia when he was up a kill and 10-15cs, he then got a double kill due to a terrible tower dive. Personally I don't think the sheen rush was a great move, but it is crazy damage so I can see it working. | ||

The base numbers on ult are good enough to not build around the scaling portion. | ||
