Thanks to Reddit sleuths, everyone can try the LotV test maps by following instructions here.

Note: This is not a beta key, it is simply access to Vs. AI and a Unit Tester. I have no idea how cool with this Blizzard is or is not, use at your own risk.

They didn't mention units warping in taking longer. I hope they just didn't say it for PR reasons and not because they reverted the change.

Activating abilities doesn't feel like micro.
I always hate when some casters during a vP say "wow that micro" and I just look closer to the video, interestingly asking out loud "where?"

I hate that they focus so much around abilities anyways. It always feels so frustrating to play vs toss, since you never lose to an army, but to abilities.


I wish they would just remove concussive shell. Silly passive ability.

Blizzard just wants it to be different from BW for the sake of being different =\ Whether or not it is a better design decision is not justified (and often later shown to be not). I am not asking for a BW clone; I just prefer a potentially better game over one that is the way it is because of stubborness and pride.

You know, micro isn't just doing a whole bunch of little things at the same time, micro also includes doing one thing with extreme precision, i.e. placing force fields.

While that is true, it is still not the same sort of "action".
I am jost annoyed by the same word for two completely different actions.
Of course if you split a game in just 2 things (micro, macro) then both things (forcefields and army management, stutterstepping or whatever) are micro.

Maybe introduce the Spectre?

If Ghost is a good answer for late game TvP, maybe Spectre could fill a specialized role in TvZ lategame, or TvT?

In fact they should make it so that concussed units that can blink or teleport cannot do so whilst concussed. It would help with holding pre-stim blink bullsh*t.

the raven needs a nerf? Didn't know that.
Overall I would feel better if the colossus gets patched out since it is the #1 reason for having deathballs

Terran if it were to get another unit. I would like to see some kind of Mech spellcaster. One that casts traps and static defenses to help protect against flanks.

CS basically just near-guarantees a kill on any unit. I would be fine if they just made it affect biological units. Basically if a unit is caught, it is dead. There is no excitement there. I would rather Blizzard fine tune the turn rates, damage points, backswing, and range slop so micro battles are not so predictable and units do not feel so liquidy. Design over balance.

Well the raven sucks at its job unless you mass the crap at them :/

Plus. it doesn't set traps. all it does is deter. For the most part the enemy just slams in and its too late. Terran needs spells that punish blindly charging into a tank line.

This should actually happen. Ghosts are such a cool unit, the fact that they are only used as a soft counter to lategame Protoss (and not even a great one at that) and in nuke troll builds sucks .
