Everyone picks her in my games, and I exclusively see her doing poorly. However, in a straight 1vs1 she is one of the most obnoxious champs I've ever come across, her W is like a Fiora W + Xin ult, and her sustain is crazy. But as soon as team fights start, nobody has a clue how to play her.

Honestly seems pretty good, I only have 2 qualms, Toxic mundo went from best skin to worse than baseline, I hate the passive indicators, I get they want clarity but then why are there 2?

I own Toxic Mundo and find it super boring.
Wonder how long until Riot nerfs Soraka Warmogs build, it's getting popular in Master+ and looks bonkers broken.

They also giga nerfed TPA Mundo. The bonk isn't anywhere near as satisfying as before. 
What's wrong with going Warmog's first and have it active from just getting the last HP from runes? What could possible go wrong! Sometimes Riot makes me wonder...

Yeah, idk why Riot decided to shoehorn Warmog's into a first item buy, it was restricted to 3000 HP precisely because the passive is broken if you can proc it early game. It always struck me as a late game item intended to allow tanks to recover from skirmish/poke damage so your team can go from one objective to the other. Lack of resistances means it's not a great tank item on its own, there's a million sources of %HP dmg in this game these days.
People have known about the synergy between Soraka and Warmogs since forever, how could Riot not see this coming...

Just played Gwen for the first time and...I don't get it. Something about the kit just doesn't click with me. Like why is the W re-castable only once when it automatically moves with you when you leave the area? What situation would you be in where you need to recast it while still in its area in the first place before the automatic move takes place? Idk it just felt like nothing was happening and then after I hit 6 people would just die to me.

Occasionally you dont want to move it the max range since what would move it into range of enemies you absolutely do not want to interfer in your fight - like say a Janna. :^)

She's a weird champ, her banrate is pretty normal in lower MMR, but hits 50% in Masters and 60% in GM+, which is pretty high. Her winrate slowly creeps upwards from 44% in bronze to 53% in Masters, which is on the strong side but feels low for her banrate. So it seems she's a high skill floor champ, even though there isn't anything in her kit that suggests it.
I think she's just overtuned right now, and people are slowly realizing it. She has the best lv 1 in the game, and dominates most matchups hard all game long because she outdamages and outsustains everything. But that's not because her kit is amazing, it's because her numbers are propping up a dead body.

People started picking her more often in games recently but she still seems lackluster at best, perhaps reading her ability descriptions has a positive effect on her perfromance?
Can say the same about Lee in lane

She falls behind in lane fast if she isn’t exerting dominance. She has a power trough from lvl4 to 1 1/2 items so the onus is on you to abuse your first 2 levels really hard. You need a lead to be able to defend yourself. Once you have 2 items though you’re extremely strong.

somehow I've still yet to play against her in any of my solo queue games, she's not even being banned in my gold games idk what is going on

She has a sub 10% playrate in Gold NA, so it's not too surprising. Funnily enough, she seems more popular in NA, but has a less polarizing ban rate in Master+ compared to EUW (35% vs 53%), looks like EU players feel more strongly about her. KR masters+ only bans her 27% of games but also play her more.

Dunno, from my experience she gets Leeching Leer and the game is just over. Champ is completely busted in the hands of people who have 50 games+ on it.

Yeah the only game I've seen her picked or banned in was the one time I tried
