Yeah, I agree with that. No ADC since has had that same burst caster feel of old Graves; knowing you could one shot the other guy at say 600 health post mitigation. I loved the old Graves AA animation, and I didn't even own Mafia Graves. But removing the Holy Trinity from the botlane was good for the game, it finally allowed other ADC to see game play.
- Aphelios buffs feel like Riot wants him to be meta again - Nidalee nerf is a joke, expect her to continue being perma pick/ban every high MMR game - Whoever keeps buffing Udyr thinking it might make him viable needs to sit down and actually play the champ (hint, he's garbage)
ARAM changes are hilarious again, ADC Bard was already lowkey broken, Kata's winrate is because people suck on her, she is autowin if you can play her. Finally some Ezreal and Nidalee nerfs.

It's painfully obvious nobody on the team actually play ARAM and basing their buffs entirely off data that is flawed by nature of the gamemode.
edit: Also how did Riot accidentially remove Kassadin's passive? lol

In the Reddit patch thread, a Rioter actually posted a few ARAM things. For example, he mentioned that they are starting to balance around winrates in high and low MMR, not just the overall winrate. That is why Sona just received another nerf, and the highest winrate in Plat+ (Ezreal) is finally seeing his first nerf. So I'm kind of happy about that. Akali is apparently just on the cusp of their 'overpowered' criteria, idk why that doesn't mean removing some of her buffs. He also mentioned that assassins are a big problem to balance, because they are overpowered when played by people who know the champ, but see low winrates when played by everyone else.
There are quite a few unintended interactions between the nerfs/buffs and champ kits I think. I'm not entirely sure of everything, but things like:
- Zed's damage buff is multiplicative for his ult. Basically, his normal abilities do extra damage but since his ult proc increases with damage dealt and the proc itself is also increased, his ult damage is 105%*105% = 110% damage. A 10% damage increase to an assassin ability is pretty huge, tank Zed can still kill squishies fairly easily. - DD DoT effect is decreased by ARAM defense buff. So a champ takes 90% of damage, 30% is stored by DD effect and that DoT damage is again reduced. So 90% - 90%*30%*90% + 90*30% = 87.3% actual damage taken. This is why Lee Sin is a hypercarry who can 1vs1 Jax ezpz. - ARAM defense buffs turns Guardian Horn from a good item to god tier, if enemy champ has damage nerfs it becomes uber godlike. I'm pretty sure I could beat Faker on Teemo with ARAM Akali and no keyboard. - Even in higher MMR, too few people understand that DH Ludens Liandries is broken, especially when you have it 2+ times on your team. Brand Morgana can poke your team down hitting minions. This is reflected by their item build winrates: Morg winrate with Sorc Ludens Zhonyas: 51%, Ludens Liandries Sorc: 62%.

The assassins shouldn't have both the dmg mitigation and dmg buff. It leads to rediculous situations where they even build as an off-tank still can oneshot champions. Their damage without the buff is already plenty high, just let them have the mitigation so they can dive in more recklessly than usual.

TFT this patch is stupid.
Lobbies be having like 4-6 divine players, with 3 of them top 4 while everything else gets hard stomped. You need to highroll literally anything else in the game to compete with lowroll hard contested Divine. Wtf.

Nice, that's a pretty rare skin tbh. I actually played 3 years without noticing I had Victorious Morgana and Victorious Sivir, champs I played a lot back then.
Graves rework was a sad change, it's also the an easy indicator that tells newer players apart from older ones. You can even tell what role people played in S2, ADC mains will tell you how bs the champ was while everyone else has nostalgic memories of Mafia Graves AA animation.

I don't think a single champion in the game has had autos like old Mafia Graves, save perhaps old Pantheon Crit animation. Even new Mafia Graves has one of the games smoother attack animations, in my opinion.

Since nobody is posting between World series, Riot is removing Oracles on ARAM for some weird asf Umbral Glaive mechanic. As the Rioter correctly points out, Teemo is a troll pick in higher MMR, but if they want to buff him this isn't the way to do it (how about instead getting rid of his insane 85% dmg nerf lol.).
Meanwhile, good ARAM Shaco players laugh at Oracles, because they place traps near their team and therefore hard counter anyone trying to snowball in. Hard counter to any melee engage comp and the likes of LB, very funny watching AP Amumu who thinks he has a 5 man ult but ends up looking like a clown.

Tbh it's the only thing I played this season, because my soloQ experience last season was so incredibly toxic (it doesn't matter if you don't type, people are actively looking to flame their team). But since the ARAM 'balance' stuff, I have found myself enjoying it less and less. Almost every single game is a stomp, which it was before too, but now it's less about champion kits and more about stacking bullshit numbers. You could technically have a good comp, but because your champs are nerfed into oblivion, and they have Akali+Qiyana, they can't actually lose a team fight no matter how poorly they play it. I wrote it in a post above, but stacking ARAM effects completely throws balance out the window.

I honestly think ARAM is way more competitive than regular and as I've mentioned before people are way way way smarter regarding item builds. Yes there's BS games that are 100% about who got overbuffed champs (ahem LB/Akali/Qiyana) or overnerfed like Teemo that turns the game into a essentially a 4v5 if the enemy pays 300g every now and then.
All Riot really needs to do is just make the ARAM (de)buff effect on damage/mitigation just one or the other, having both leads to rediculous things like current Akali.
The current buffs legit makes LeBlanc an A+ tier ADC and you could even make an argument of her being the third best after Cait and Ezreal.

Yeah, I'm also a big fan of simply having damage done nerfs, but leave damage taken unchanged. Would solve the dumb stacking ARAM effects. Sure, Sion will be super hard to kill, but well that's what the champ does. If Akali does 118% damage but takes normal damage, most people would probably shut up about balance.
I have only seen AD LB but not played it (imo AP LB is just stupid broken), it's on my todo list along with Tank Zoe (lost to this once, she would proc Grasp every time her ult was off CD and solo poked our entire team down).
