My patch review
If they’re going to do Kench’s defensive w like this I don’t know why the compensation buffs don’t encourage core Kench. What the fuck is the point of nerfing his damage as a farm role so hard? And why is the w mana refund on champions only????????? That literally accomplished nothing you’re not going to eat 2 champions in a team fight ever with that cd and the requirements, it could cost 300 mana and it wouldn’t be mana gaited.
I actually like the Soraka change as a Soraka player, 1) E Max is not that interesting to play 2) if the lane phase ends early at all as e max, getting to 13 is a nightmare because you are useless and you get no exp. that being said this champ is unplayable if Sylas is in the game because point and click ult steal lol
Rageblade nerf on ptr didn’t make the patch
J4 nerfs feel behind the meta to me
E Max kennen is lame rank 5 cd might still be a problem but we will see
Don’t know enough about pony, he’s op but I have no idea if this is the right change
I haven’t been a Voli player in years at this point but if they want him to jungle rank1 Q needs some speed back
Morg nerf is deserved but ultimately doesn’t change anything unless ranged supports see play(w/regards to pro)

Should just remove Manamune and balance based on AD champs having mana problems mid and late.

Only played a couple games but got caught out forgetting that scuttle was taken back a couple mins and completely fkd up my path on rek. Forgot how crucial healing off scuttle was to my pathing.

Lets be real here, while Reddit might be overreacting Riven is too powerful right now (just like Hecarim and Kennen was/is). She is so strong that I can do well and even carry on, let that sink in a Janna main can play her currently the only thing I took time to learn in practice tool was her fast Q combo and ult animation cancel.
Really like the Aatrox changes but the Rakan/Soraka/Kench changes all seem so bleeeeeh.

Excuse me, what the fuck are those Tahm changes, he's going to become a solo tank not a support. His ult looks exactly like Ryze, gutted the early range for extreme late range. He already decently trades with champs who can't kite him, he might become the new Naut. Speaking of which, people running Naut mid since the changes, it's one of the dumbest things I've seen in a while. Yesterday on stream I watched protobelt support Naut blow up a Karthus jungle, both lv 13, without using his ultimate. Granted, the game was stompy, but Naut is too tanky to deal that kind of damage.
Aatrox is having an identity crisis about what his abilities do exactly.
Rakan also can't figure out if his combo is legal.
Riot finally noticed the Soraka E max playstyle, it basically hard shuts down any low ranged ADC who doesn't have the jungler coming to punish Soraka's over extension, easy way to own lane in lower elos.
A lot of small changes are targeted at more beefy champions, I feel like Riot might be trying to bring tank meta back in the near future.

Riot having been trying to push tanks for a few patches now and we ended up with AP Nautilus. Yay. 
Kench's solo got completely slaughtered with the mega nerf to his devour damage on champions. Ironically I cant see him being played outside of pro where a team absolutely need his devour to save an immobile carry. I guuuuess the E buff makes him better at soaking poke, but that means you're either laning against Jayce/Kennen in top that is a lane you're going to lose by default or you're feeding Ezreal klepto.

Yea ithey nerfed the reason he’s picked as a support so hard, nerfing his damage on top of that really leaves him without a niche. Outside of pro play where 1 well used def w could win a game. It’s just bizarre that they would change him in this way making the gap between his competitive usefulness and ranked usefulness even worse.

Tahm win rate has risen by 5% with the patch, support still sub 50%, but top lane is 53% and third highest according to op.gg. Most notably, he has a very high win rate in short games, 25 minutes or less, which is when his bonker stats shine before falling off and becoming a pure damage soak.

U.gg is apparently the most accurate stat site, previously lolalytics. While yes, Tahm's top winrate is 52.62% globaly in plat+, it's also based on less than 2,500 games. Could just be a "people don't know how to play against it yet" scenario.

Vi Q-Flash hit box feels so much smaller than I remember it. Or maybe I'm just hella out of practice. LOL.
