Even though, I'm quite surprised that EDG has signed Athena instead of Loken, considering that they still have BaeMe in ADG and it was Deft, who said that he regrets signing to the Chinese team.
But then again, we'll see.
EDG was very dependant on PawN drawing pressure mid and neither BaeMe or Athena seems to be a proper replacement.

Odds are athena is subbing due to the fact that Pawn is apparently about to die any second now (according to sanshao)
I guess in terms of fitting the pawn role of play independent mid and turn up to teamfights Athena is fine but he's definitely not a properly adequate replacement
Honestly though Athena is not much of a loss, if they kept everyone else and took on someone like Frozen Ever would be better for it.

Mor was a top laner for royal at first, part of an infamous four that were known as the worst people on the Chinese servers (this included lomoman and a guy with a shit list where he'd int feed when playing with someone he dislikes)
But playing support with Uzi afaik never happened. It went Tabe --> Atu -->Tabe
