The best thing to do is to go either pure ap (against normal comps) with a fast soulstealer, or if its a comp that wants to dive you get locket/FH/spirit visage (the cdr heals you increase healing throughput, but not efficiency) you always keep 5 biscuits in your inventory at all times and its like 240 hp each one with both masteries more with spirit visage. with the 5 busicuits its like an extra 6 or so heals which is 1800 hp +AP ratios which is huge.

Sorakas heal is based on her own max hp, if you have 3k hp all you are doing is transferring hp from someone else to you, you arent really gaining a sustain advantage from the heals, and you have to remember you lose out on a support so just transfering hp isnt good when people like lulu give flat hp as well as providng cc. You get 3% Max HP per second with Warmogs. Who cares about the rest of the stats, buying that shit lets you go oldskool fountain of life.

Yep, it doesn't break warmog's increased healing the same with Mundo so I assume it's for every health cost spell.

It's different from throwing a Q at a raptor over the wall (also junglers tend to want to keep the raptors to themselves because the buff is really good; at least I do). yes, you have to smite a monter. Its not really hard to smite either their or your raptors, or crab. Its not that bad to take your raptors if you communicate with your jungler, because you can use the buff to clear wards mid just like they would, and you get the bonus gold same as your jungler would. I ward their raptors and steal them though (or try to steal their blue). The Q into raptor camp is only a last ditch sustain tactic. You have to be empty on mana and it only gives you one bonus Q per Q you use for most of the game. You use it to stay in lane a bit longer to hit an item, its not good enough to really keep you going.

If you're not in range to Q as Soraka, why have you picked Soraka? A Soraka with no AP using nothing but W is a health bank letting your team 4.5v5.

A Soraka with no AP using nothing but W is a health bank letting your team 4.5v5. Soraka still has some of the best silence/peel in the game in her E. And her heals are not "4.5v5". If you have AP your Q's will hurt a tiny bit, and in return you get to open yourself up to a hard engage or poke on the squishy, making it a real 4v5. Its much better to do less damage and be able to survive/sustain than it is to attempt to utilize your massive .35/.525 AP ratio on your Q. Its 657 AP to double damage on that ability! And sure, the sustain on hitting your Q does go up a lot with AP. But again, you're trading guaranteed sustain and tank for risky sustain.

And Q's got 900+ range; W has 550. It's the same theory as ADC. The more you're doing to the enemy team, the more (literally, for Soraka) you're getting back. If someone can dive 900 range into you and kill you, you've fucked up, either in picking Soraka or in positioning. Even then, go Abyssal/Seeker or FH and be infinitely more useful than any health build in a dive scenario just by dropping a ton of Qs and E on whoever's diving.

So that they can focus everyone else but you and laugh while you heal for a net loss If you can't play AP Soraka, you just need to play better as Soraka or play somebody easy. She's not 'use all your cooldowns and spam Q' anymore.

+ Show Spoiler + At max ranks: Q damage: [345 + 52.5%AP] or [230 + 35%AP] W heal on Q-hit: [240 + 60%AP] * Missing HP bonus E damage: [230 + 40%AP] * 2-if-rooted At 0 AP from other sources: Deathcap adds 156 AP Hextech Revolver adds 40AP, 12% Spell Vamp (4% AoE) D.cap AP adds Q: 81.9 or 54.6 damage E: 124.8 or 62.4 damage W: [93.6 * missing health bonus] extra healing per Q per Champion hit. Hextech AP adds Q: 21 or 14 damage E: 32 or 16 damage W: [24 * missing health bonus] healing per Q per Champion hit. 4% AoE Spellvamp adds: Q: 14.64 or 9.76 healing per Q per target. E: 19.68 or 9.84 healing per E per target. So deathcap adds a lot of healing, but Hextech Revolver (~1/3 the price) is ~[1/3 to 4/9] as good for purely healing off of champions, and about equal if you can hit ~3 minions at the same time. Alternatively, two Hextech Q's on 3 minions (which is trivial to land and requires no set-up) is the same as a single D.Cap Q on a single champion. So revolver seems like good enough sustain given the low AP ratios elsewhere imo. Why not combine the two conversations and add blasting smite for bonus super healing too?

UNIQUE - SPELLBLADE: After using an ability, your next basic attack is converted to deal magic damage plus 75% base AD (+30% AP) bonus damage in an area around the target. Applies spell effects. (1.5 second cooldown). Does this mean that for instance, velkoz, could proc his passive stacks with a spellblade auto attack?

Quoting the passive here: Each of Vel'Koz's damaging abilities apply a stack of Organic Deconstruction to enemy units for 7 seconds, up to a maximum of 3 stacks. Upon reaching 3 stacks, they will detonate, dealing「 25 + (10 × Vel'Koz's level) 」true damage to the enemy unit. Basic attacks will refresh the duration of the Organic Deconstruction stacks, but will not add additional stacks. To me that means no, as it has to be an ability of his, not the on-hit effect of Runeglaive.

It allows you to instaclear waves, sustain massively. Challenging and chilling are ok but only useful in rare occasions, trailblazer is great every time its off CD and I think it may be on the whole more beneficial. I think it depends on the situation. I still like Skirmishers a lot on him, but I think if the enemy laner has any pushing power Trailblazer is the way to go. I think if they dont really have any scary damage threats that will dive you & you can outpush them with just Runeglaive Q picking Stalkers is the way to go. But yeah, in most cases Trailblazer is the best IMO. Out of the lanes I've played: Skirmishers: Fizz, Zed, Ekko, Diana, Talon, Akali [Assumed: Kass? Ryze? Leblanc - I think you still might want Trailblaze... I wouldn't pick Ez into LeBlanc though, good god] Stalkers (assuming top lane / Jungle not a scary threat too): Urgot, Kogmaw, Kennen, etc Trailblazer: Basically everyone else
