thats because most players dont single handedly carry games with their most proficent champs
forgiven is probably better than most lcs adcs at his less proficient champs

his other champions are still on level other top adc players, his lucian and graves are just so much better than anyone else that they have to be banned i dont see how does that disqualify him as a top adc

Man I don't get how rabid this overhyping of Forgiven has gotten. The guy is good at what he does but he's not some kind of god that's just higher level than others. He's been exposed pretty hard both in international events and EU LCS at this point. He may be a top 5 ADC in the West but he's not good enough at playing outside of that tiny comfort zone to really compete for the very top slots.

He was arguably the best player in the West in the beginning of the Season until SK fell off at the first Lan Tournament. Forget the name of it. He just came out of the motherfucking gates swinging.

No. If the other 4 players receive no targeted bans and they can ban out your best player with 1 or 2 picks then the other team is free to use 2 or 1 bans on pure compositional bans, letting them pick their strong composition without having to worry about individual carries mucking with it or specific counter picks preventing it.
It's never an advantage of youre able to be banned out.

Yea he was super good. I'd argue that GE Tigers kind of showed the rest of EU what to do against SK which is why they "fell off" after that.

Forg1ven is still better than anyone but Sneaky and Freeze in lategame, his Tristana/Caitlyn/Corgi is more than enough to be top-3 in EU, even without Lucian/Graves. Plus he doesn't go full Wuxx and probs will play Ashe before everyone.

I think there's a lot of truth to Leviathan's words. Unless Edward somehow goes super saiyan, which is doubtful. I think it's kinda weird how people say Forgiven has been exposed because he can't 1v9 hard carry on every champ he plays.
