Xerath must not have charged the Q at all, bard's range is really not spectacular, but he trades well with meep auto and Q and frost queen.

So like you effectively extend range by the width of the unit you hit, which would explain why the extension if champ hits first is bigger than if you hit a minion. Could probably do a quick test with a teemo vs a six stack Cho.

The more I play as and against top laners with smite, the more I'd like to entertain a teamcomp where everyone runs Smite and starts a camp (the jungler having the privilege of getting 3 camps and level 3 if bot lane shares one). Even if the non-Cinderhulk machete items aren't as good, it'd be hilarious just to get everyone together to 5-smite the first dragon at level 2. You'd be able to do half its total HP with just Smites :D

death bush wraith bush (their/our) (top/bot) tri bush (their/our) (top/bot) river bush (top/bot) I would think it would be generally beneficial to have a semi-standardized set of callouts for, at least, the major choke points and bushes. On Double's stream they seemed to agree on 'cat' for the path from blue to mid, and 'ledge' as the path from red to mid (So as blue side, 'our cat' would be the left entrance/exit to midlane on your side, 'our ledge' would be right entrance/exit). Is having a standardized set of callouts asking too much of a community this large? Would too many standards try to compete and everyone end up confused?

Pings reduce the need to give every little area a name. It's way too difficult to name everything and have it catch on across the entire player base at this point. All the standardized names are there cause there's almost no way to mistake them.

For "neutral" bushes: Top river bush Baron dot bush Top mid river bush Bot mid river bush Dragon dot bush Bot river bush For the lanes: Near [lane] bush Middle [lane] bush Far [lane] bush [side] [lane] side bush For the blue buff jungles: [side] Blue bush [side] middle river bush* [side] wolves bush [side] [top/bot] tri bush For the red buff jungles: [side] gate bush [side] Raptor bush [side] ramp bush* [side] under-Red bush* [side] front-Red bush* [side] Krug bush [side] [top/bot] tri bush Am I missing any? The only ones that I think are problematic are starred, but those were the best names I could come up with.

The only ones that I think are problematic are starred, but those were the best names I could come up with. I think 'middle river bush' has been called 'banana bush' from old-SR, as someone else said. I've also thought about what to name bushes/places, and found that it was hard to balance how desciptive the name is with how long or cumbersome to say/type it is. I think having a cumbersome name is doable if, along with magically setting a naming standard that everyone has knowledge of, you also have everyone know the shorthand names. For example, time the enemy blue with "705 tb", most people (I think) know that that means 'their blue'. I'm going off into fantasy land here, but given the premise of "everyone knows the shorthand name of every bush on the map", chat-based communication could develop even further for things like calling out enemy jungle movements or ward locations. I imagine a midlaner who sees particles flying over the enemy wraith wall (e.g. Vi E), typing "jtw" for "enemy jungler at their wraiths". Or top/bot lane typing "wrb" for "ward in river bush". That would allow anyone on the team to see when a ward times out if they called it out when it was placed, or visualize the enemy jungle's jungle path via a couple "enemy jungler" callouts. That kind of communication being generally accepted and used by the community at large is probably fantasy, but it would be cool.

![]() I still call it the banana bush to this day even though it is much smaller now. (bush directly over the wall from blue.)
