Well this took longer than expected.Surprising they are calling it a bug considering they said they added this in s2.... i wonder if this will fix buffered stuns cancelling malz ult, like someone starting a cast and you r them but the cast finishes while the beam is on them and ends your ult That's not an issue with buffered stuns, but more of cast time. Malz ult has virtually 0 cast time, but some stuns or silences have a cast/silence time so you can get silenced/stunned after you ult if your target starts (and completes) their cc cast before you start your ult cast. That should be working as intended imo. Ex. You ult a fid who throws his E at you before you ult. However, E has a travel time so you ult the Fid before the E lands. E lands after you ult and interrupts it. That's working as intended imo. I'm glad they're finally removing the stupid cc buffering. It was a retarded inclusion in the first place and should never have existed. On January 15 2015 11:34 krndandaman wrote: damn that pd buff. I find it hard to see a situation where shiv is better. Ima buy pd like 90% of the time now Aoe and magic damage crit is pretty gud. Also doesn't shiv give more movespeed than pd? yes, i agree, that one is obvious. i'm talking like you ult an udyr/voli who are running at you and the beam appears and they don't stop moving until after they bear/flip you ah. I'm inclined to believe that it might be an issue with Malz ult or the actual spell itself not actually stunning at the beginning of the animation? CC buffering was Riot specifically adding in packets of time for people to do stuff in between cc. i'm pretty sure it's malz ult specific but i don't really play ww or skarner to experiment with their suppresses. the suppress definitely has some leeway where it doesn't immediately put an end to whatever the other guy was doing
It's not specific to suppression. You just can't interrupt non-channeled windup animations in League. It's most obvious with very long animations like Lux/EZ ult, Caitlyn Q, but it holds for pretty much anything. The most well-known example is EZ blink disjointing various hooks.
You CAN interrupt auto-attacks. I don't know how abilities that carry auto attacks work here. My guess is if they modify the animation, they're uninterruptable (ie, Udyr bear punch).
I'd much rather live in a world where stuns actually stun things, but it is what it is. The vast majority of animations are so fast that it rarely makes a difference anyway--and the slow ones have a tendency to disappear any time "quality of life" is mentioned.

So if one of those Krugs wiggles between two targets rapidly, you can expect it to hard reset pretty fast. This will have the largest impact on duo-lane partners who like to balance monster damage between them but will also affect long-range junglers who use the camp aggro range reset to take even less damage.
GO BACK TO YOUR HOME! Jungle monsters will 'hard' reset after 10 soft leashes ⇒ 5 soft leashes. Weeeeeaaaaaaaak. Lowering (/ impairing development of potential) jungle diversity in order to make rock juggling harder but still possible and worthwhile is really lame. Seconding not understanding the point of Naut shield changes. Adding % of base health to bonus health scaling is functionally no different from altering the base values of the shield, yeah? % bonus scalings work well if you're getting items, buying your needed stats, and getting something out of it. % base does the same, but it protects you from being absolutely useless if you're getting rocked.
It also effectively forces you down both a build and item path. It's not particularly relevant on Nautilus because there's not really a reason to do anything other than shield-max-->stack midgame HP with the way the game is currently, but it has implications beyond both Nautilus and the current state of the game.

Wait, they didn't add TL flair in summoner icons shop yet? I'm disappoint.

No Liss nerfs makes me confused. I just don't get where the counter-play is? This bug fix with the CC layering also really helps her. I dunno, this seems overlooked and odd to me.
Also really want to check out these Renekton fury changes. I never really relied on fury when playing him so I wonder if this changes that.

On January 15 2015 11:23 Alaric wrote: Naut's shield keeps growing past level 9, and once maxed scales better with additional health too. It's a bit weaker at times though iirc, but overall it's a buff, it's just it takes ages to become noticeable and doesn't do jack shit to how vulnerable Naut is when behind, as he'll be low level and without farm when that happens, meaning the shield buff won't kick in. So it's nice but I'm not convinced this is what he needed (he already gets 600 HP shields every 10s if he gets 3 items).
So here's the math on it:
Old Nautilus: Lv1: 100 +15% bonus Lv3: 150 +15% bonus Lv5: 200 +15% bonus Lv7: 250 +15% bonus Lv9: 300 +15% bonus
+ Show Spoiler [New Nautilus:] + Base + Scaling% of base + Scaling% of bonus Lv1: 65 + 40 + 7% bonus 02: 65 + 044 + 07.0% bonus 03: 70 + 066 + 09.5% bonus 04: 70 + 073 + 09.5% bonus 05: 75 + 101 + 12.0% bonus 06: 75 + 109 + 12.0% bonus 07: 80 + 143 + 14.5% bonus 08: 80 + 155 + 14.5% bonus 09: 85 + 196 + 17.0% bonus 10: 85 + 211 + 17.0% bonus 11: 85 + 226 + 17.0% bonus 12: 85 + 241 + 17.0% bonus 13: 85 + 258 + 17.0% bonus 14: 85 + 274 + 17.0% bonus 15: 85 + 291 + 17.0% bonus 16: 85 + 309 + 17.0% bonus 17: 85 + 327 + 17.0% bonus 18: 85 + 346 + 17.0% bonus
New Naut is always better at and after level 11. New Naut is better at level 9 with at least 633 bonus HP (juggernaut + ruby crystal does this). There is no new incentive to pick HP runes or anything, so the only bonus HP you should be starting with is from masteries (+36, +3% max).
+ Show Spoiler [itemless bonus HP from levels 1 to 9] + Bonus HP from masteries (15% / New scaling %) 1: 54 (08 / 03) 2: 56 (08 / 03) 3: 58 (08 / 05) 4: 60 (09 / 05) 5: 62 (09 / 07) 6: 64 (09 / 07) 7: 66 (09 / 09) 8: 69 (10 / 10) 9: 71 (10 / 12)
So as you can see the itemless bonus HP scaling is pretty tiny, favouring old naut by up to 5 HP at level 1.
Finally:
+ Show Spoiler [Direct comparison without items] + Level: Old::New (difference) 01: 108 :: 108 (+00) 02: 108 :: 112 (+04) 03: 158 :: 141 (-17) 04: 159 :: 148 (-11) 05: 209 :: 183 (-26) 06: 209 :: 191 (-18) 07: 259 :: 232 (-27) 08: 260 :: 245 (-15) 09: 310 :: 293 (-17) 10: 310 :: 308 (-02) 11: 310 :: 324 (+14) 12: 310 :: 339 (+29) 13: 310 :: 356 (+46) 14: 310 :: 373 (+63) 15: 310 :: 390 (+80) 16: 310 :: 409 (+99) 17: 310 :: 427 (+117) 18: 310 :: 447 (+137)
So they're on par at level 1, new naut is marginally stronger at level 2, and old naut is marginally stronger beyond that. Because old naut also scales better before level 9, Old naut is stronger at all times from levels 3-8. The early differences are tiny enough that the lategame scaling of +2% bonus HP and the natural shield strength increases are a marginal buff after level 9.
Titan's Wrath hold pretty even - until Nautilus hits his 2nd health item, where he starts to see significant gains
2 items = ~1000 HP. +3% -> 1030 1030 * 2% = 20 bonus shield HP. riot pls

Riot's kind of painted themselves into a corner with the sustain supports. It's anti-fun to play against infinite sustain, but it's also anti-fun to run out of mana, have long cooldowns, or have low impact spells. I really don't think the Sona issues are the result of champion buffs and nerfs so much as supports hitting functionally infinite mana incredibly early in the game now. Often without even trying to.

That IE nerf probably hurt Critplank a lot
Also interesting to see Syndra nerfs after she's already gotten figured out and fallen off quite a bit

Why are you trying to make a big deal out of something that's not a big deal? It's optional, and it's not forced. So, who cares?

Much like skins in-game, we believe Summoner Icons are a way for players to express their identity out-of-game. We've therefore completely redesigned icons which thousands of people identify with. You're welcome.
Rito pls

Uhh, Okay?
1.) The sarcasm is not difficult to read.
2.) My point is that who gives a shit about the whole thing? There are so many patch notes we can discuss instead, or we can have other discussions about LoL. The only thing your post was doing was a simple circlejerk about gaming companies and forced facebook integration. My point still stands. Your choice of topic sucks. At best, it's just whining either way.

Today I sat down and looked at my ARAM win percentage. I've owned all champs since ~600 games in or so (except brief periods where I don't buy the new one ASAP).
54.3% over 1871 games. I have no life.
