Lol delayed rage outburst from sponkz.
for people to ignore if they choose + Show Spoiler +Have to agree though, i kept well away from that topic after typing out several replies to it, you simply don't flaunt, abuse and manipulate your looks to gain benefit (in this case money) without expecting criticism. Being a transsexual and not telling everyone is probably the worst part of it all for me, if you aren't readily telling people this you shouldn't be flaunting yourself in the first place. Reminds me of those ladyboy horror stories people tell.

Also for people to ignore if they choose
+ Show Spoiler +All I can say is I saw 1-2 minutes of the stream, when it was one of the top 5 streams under LoL, and for the entirety of the time I was watching, she was sitting there webcam fullscreened (no hint of league anywhere,) topless (just sitting there in a bra, shirt was draped over the back of the chair) holding the bra as far down as she could with her thumb to expose as much cleavage as possible (like literally a cm from nipples showing) and holding that position, staring into the camera while a song was playing. Just sitting there for literally 2+ minutes. Nothing else.
I agree there are cases where there's a gamer who happens to be a girl, (and might even happen to be hot) but is just streaming gameplay, and bring their gender into it is disrespecting the streamer. I also agree this is definitely not one of those cases.
Also for what it's worth the stream is banned from twitch now.
Now I'm picking up my 10 foot pole with "female streamer discussion" written on it, and putting it firmly back into place :p

Banned for the right reasons. If she wants to make money that way go to the camming sites, plenty of money to be made there. I'm happy Twitch doesn't tolerate that kind of bullshit.
On the statements some people made, yes they're sexist, yes they're crass, but when she's whoring herself out for attention the way she was I honestly that type of speech is to be expected.

"if you do __________, everyone is entitled to treat you like shit" is such a bullshit argument it hurts my brain to even think you're capable of clothing yourself in the morning. idiot.

i knew sona was OP, she's just so ridiculous if your team ascends, you especially. always full health, never not. ascended maokai with a sona following him around is just lulz.
User was temp banned for this post.

My Q just went right through an enemy as Nautilus. Like, pierced his model, nothing happened. FFS Riot.
(And of course the hitbox is still bugged as fuck behind you but that's nothing new. Having hit go through Nidalee's model and hit the wall behind her and drag me without cc-ing her was some mighty bullshit though.)

If you cannot handle the pressure, stay the hell away. You don't go apeshit on TV in series like Big Brother, Paradise Hotel etc. and then expect to not be told shit about it (some might even get treated like shit). It's well deserved, you could've just stayed fucking anonymous for all we care. I doubt anyone would suddenly start making a debate about trans-sexual gamers if it wasn't for the stream, which is a public media after all.

Again, feel free to ignore
+ Show Spoiler +Simply not about being female or transgender tbh. I have the utmost respect for Scarlett as a gamer, she's a bonafide badass at what she does and doesn't flaunt her sexuality or hide that she's transgender for benefit (or at all). Could you honestly say this ScY person treats herself with the same respect in the public eye?

Haven't Scy been known as an attention hungry troll since season 1 or am I mixing her up with someone else?

Here's what I think you don't understand Sponkz.
Everything you're saying is true. What she was doing wasn't right. I didn't like it either. And if you're doing something like that you are inviting criticism and to a certain degree are supposed to take it as it happens.
But just because all of that is true doesn't mean YOU personally have the invitation. Other people are going to do it. That's not because it's the right thing to do, it's because other people are also assholes, and it's just as not okay for them to do it as it is for her to be going around Twitch in a bra in the first place.
Further, "addressing abuse" is not what you did. You pretty much just made fun of how she's a transsexual and didn't link it to anything. If you want to make an argument take time and make an argument, don't just go "LOL SHE HAS A DICK"
Edit: Also to be fair, apparently after I made that big post she went around doing a bunch of crap while the server was down that was more or less indefensible and did get her banned, so oh well. The previous day or so when people were talking about it and I was watching it honestly didn't look all that bad. Apparently it got bad pretty quick

Here's what you don't understand Ketara.
I do have the fucking invitation to say WHATEVER I PLEASE. You go public, you are expected to take ALL the shit not just 20%, not 80% but you fucking take it all, like a man.
And yes, my comments were immature. I won't deny that. But you should also know that i have a tendency to lower the standard to express my deepest and honest opinion about matters, which make me seem like a giant asshole. Being an asshole is not a bad thing at all, i like it, and showing asshole-like attitude can sometimes put things into perspective such as "WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS WORLD I'M LIVING IN?"
And the dick argument as probably the most solid argument in this whole debate. He did it with the intention being that he could trick people into believing he was some sexy ass gurl with huge tits. Like if you are a sexy ass girl with huge tits and you love showing them on stream, then for the love of God do it. However, if you're a tranny, please enlighten people, because then at least they know they're being fooled.

you guys are all toxic raported you all for verbal abuse inappropriate language and NEGATIVE ATTITUDE
|
"Somebody who is a transexual is obligated to tell people who are just looking at them that they are a transexual" is not a position that I think you want to endorse.
Like, just using the word "fooled" in there still seems pretty sexist, at least to me.
Nor do I think you want to endorse the "I can say whatever I want whenever I want and it's always okay" argument.

It's never okay to say what you want, that's the part of being an asshole.
Fooled is a good word, especially when you push 9k viewers.
|
being an asshole is just being an asshole, nothing else. why would you want to be like that, apart from being an asshole in the first place
|
Okay, let me rephrase.
"Fooled" is a good word if you want to be like "This is being advertized as a League of Legends stream but it's really a camwhore stream!" Yes, that's a good statement.
"Fooled" is a bad word if you want to be like "This camwhore says she's a chick but she's really a dude!" when she's not showing anything but fake boobs.
If somebody wants to get a sex change, you don't attack them for it. There's all sorts of legitimate reasons for that, and nobody does it to get more Twitch viewers (which was an argument that got brought up in here by a ton of people). Make fun of the actual bad behavior, not the sex change.

TIL Ketara was a childhood bully.
"You cannot call Susie ugly, that's wrong. Make fun of her fat legs instead"
edit: In my world this is the same as if i opened a stream with the title "Sponkz - Challenger Stream SMURFING" pretending to be some kind of challenger hero, when in reality i'm just a shitty diamond player. I'm lying on my stream, i'm lying to the public. Same thing can be applied to the tranny, solely because of the huge tit-zoom on webcam.

Okay, that was pretty good, I laughed.

Pretty sure Ketara's point was "Criticize something that deserves criticism instead of something incidental." not "Here's two things to be a jerk about. Pick one."
