and he is. he's significantly stronger vs people who are uncoordinated than those who are. you can get out of control with him far better outside of 5v5 play than you do in it. Seeing how he is also the number one contested pick at the pro level id say he's just good. He fits the meta better than any support, doesn't make him less of a pub stomper.

I don't think you actually believe this. there is no way you could possibly think that thresh is actually worse in solo queue than pro play and that thresh doesn't gets out of control in pubs easily. I think you need a break from the thread if you are arguing this kind of stuff just to argue with me.

How is it any different? He is one of the best supports in pro play and one of the best supports in soloq? If a good player is playing him he can solo win in both.

they are two separate games. pub play and competitive play. there shouldn't have been an argument at all about thresh being a pub stomping support. its a fact. people just want to argue with me because they dislike me and hope i get banned for something i say in response. its a shame.

I have no idea what you're arguing about at this point. Lucian is good in both competitive and soloq these two things don't have to be mutually exclusive. That they are played differently does not mean a champion can't be good at both. Thresh is one of these champions and so is Lucian.
Like being a "pum stomper" to me means very much that the hero works on the basis of uncoordinated play, and thresh doesn't need that to thrive at all.

Like being a "pum stomper" to me means very much that the hero works on the basis of uncoordinated play, and thresh doesn't need that to thrive at all. a pub stomping champion is one that quickly gets out of control in uncoordinated play. its not just a strong champion, but one that reaches a critical mass of effectiveness very quickly. Shaco is a pub stomper that sees no use in competitive play, a good shaco can spiral a team out of control same as a thresh. Thresh is strong in competitive play but it has no impact on his status as a pub stomping support. being JUST a pub stomper means its only strong in uncoordinated play as a pub stomping champion. but you can be both useful in competitive play and a pub stomper.
its nothing that even needs a discussion, all of this stemmed from someone trying to instigate something based off of a small comment i made. it happens all the time now and its a shame that this sort of thing is becoming common on the thread with a lot of people.

Press tab, hover over your opponent's summoner spell, it shows you the cooldown (including summoner's insight/alacrity). You don't even need to memorise the 5 minutes like you do with buffs. http://i.imgur.com/Fd2M9Qy.jpg I'm pretty sure it doesn't calculate anyone's except yours.

man i am so annoyed with this drop hack bullshit
thats what this is right? its getting unreal. u have to be lvl 30 to play ranked so why arent these people being banned out?
game was so over and then there is the drop hack..
im so disappointed. this is during my promo series too
the drop hack is so frequent its making it way harder to move up elo

Travis, you're barking up the wrong tree. I was told riot shouldn't be expected to handle issues all game developers are supposed to handle like cheating and having servers that don't suck because they've only been the most popular game in the world for four years by pretty well half this sub forum.

There's nothing to discuss. You can voice your opinion of how easy/difficult it is for companies to deal with drophacks and tell us how you think that Riot is too slow at banning drophackers and such, but nobody cares. It's pretty much Shykio thread material until you can affect drophacks.

perm ban all 10 people in every game that is drophacked

Pretty sure people get banned for drop hacking all the time.

My question is why there exist people so petty that they drophack ARAMs.

So apparently their Duo restriction isn't working very well, just had a Gold 5/Bronze 1 duo. Was fairly certain Silver 5 was supposed to be the cutoff?

I think that that was removed from this patch and might be added in the future.

Makes sense. Drophack works because eventually everybody is marked as afk and disconnected because people think they can't get in/move, and then the game disappears because all 10 players are AFK. Your packets holding your movement commands aren't gone, the servers just queued them behind the rest of the drophack stuff. Was wondering why one game I got dropped I alt-tabbed every couple of minutes to try and buy an item and clicked the ground, and the game didn't disappear for like 20 minutes. Gonna try and ride out the next one if I can.

It doesn't matter, I won't be happy until Duo Queue is removed completely from "Solo" play. It's fucking toxic.
