I figured if it was about SI, onGamers, TSM, etc, it had some relevance to League but somehow you guys managed to devolve the discussion into an issue about race of all things. Enough is enough. Yeah, might have to do it on a champ that already has a wall jump so you don't need flash as much or do it with chogath/nunu. TP to a tower is fine if homeguard gets you there in time imo. | ||

A neat unorthodox trick is start machete and only 1 pot, do 1 buff and a small camp, go back to base, buy razor and tp to the tower closer to your second buff. I'm still not decided how good that is, it's better to start red if you're doing this cause enemies rarely try to counterjungle your blue buff after their first one. Also it's one of those things that you do if you have your mind set on farming pve for the next minutes (usually till level 6), | ||

I'd also contend that it's much easier to close out a snowballed lead with a lot of vision unless you're not planning on doing anything but 5-manning towers for the next several minutes. I used to play a pretty low-ward style of support (pre-S4). At some point I switched to massing wards and noticed a pretty substantial difference in the way games played out. It was pretty rare that I got caught even before mass wards, but the number of picks on my allies diminished greatly. We also started getting a lot more uncontested towers, jungle picks, buff steals, etc, etc. You don't need a ton of wards defensively, but they open up a lot of opportunities offensively, and as a bonus give you a lot more margin for error defensively. Having said that, a lot of people will buy a stack of wards and place a lot of them redundantly so they don't really gain much more than buying one would have given them. | ||

Their are some things I don't like too much because of how polished they are. The sentinel, for exemple (golem replacement for blue buff) looks super clean, compared to all the weird greenish lines on the golem's "skin", I like the latter more. But since it's a beta, I guess this kind of stuff can be addressed later. The Wight (toad) attacks with its tongue but since it's ranged it passes through melee champs, looks weird. The tower shots are unimpressive and not that visible too, I hope they make them "bigger" since the visual cue is important. Not a fan of too bright colors too, for example the towers, nexus and "epic" monsters health bars are huge and take up a lot of space. | ||
