[Patch 4.9] RIP Kha'Zix General Discussion - Page 96
Forum Index > LoL General |
Alright, we're going to call it a day with all the Thorin drama, guys. I figured if it was about SI, onGamers, TSM, etc, it had some relevance to League but somehow you guys managed to devolve the discussion into an issue about race of all things. Enough is enough. Let's move along now. -NeoIllusions

I acknowledged it's a word, just not one I prefer to use. invade, attack, raze, strike, destroy, demolish, harass, I'd use any of these verbs to describe going on the offensive against player/turret over the verb aggress.

invade, attack, raze, strike, destroy, demolish and harass all imply that the action was in some way successful, aside from maybe attack. Like, if the attack was a failure you would have to say "a failed attack", if you're using aggress you can still just say aggress. I agree that it's not a commonly used term though. I also agree that this conversation is very silly. Unrelated, does anybody have any experience with higher elo Quinn mid/top? I want to mathcraft some stuff for her with the new item and could use a little help.

I would have just taken my spanking and been done with it. I wouldn't call it a common word, i wouldn't call it uncommon either. He isn't wrong in his usage of it either.

He didn't twist anything; no one uses that word. fact: you have never used the word aggress in your entire life, written or spoken.

Yes, it's the verb form of 'aggression' but it's such a weird and non-descript verb to use. I would personally never use aggress, spoken or in writing, but it doesn't phase me when other people do. Did you mean it doesn't faze you? I do agree that "aggress" and other unusual vocabulary from casters aren't really a bother. Other factors like knowledge, energy, and accuracy are more important in keeping a cast enjoyable for me.
