Alright, we're going to call it a day with all the Thorin drama, guys. I figured if it was about SI, onGamers, TSM, etc, it had some relevance to League but somehow you guys managed to devolve the discussion into an issue about race of all things.

That doesn't make sense then. Towers are just doing like an extra 60 damage.

For all normal AD ranges it's usually 2AAs + 1 Tower to CS casters, and 2 Tower + 1AA to CS melee

so apparently helios in NA is pretty much confirmed? helios actually replacing snoopeh? with that change EG might be shaking up the rankings soon. I don't think a single player would make them top dogs, but definitely out of the bottom 2 imo. It's gonna be like Seraph, except probably a bit better in mechanics. But the level of communication is going to be worse. helios was actually a starter on pro teams though. so he has experience. also the difference (on paper) between snoopeh and helios is much larger than nien and seraph. not to mention we alraedy got 2 korean boys on EG so it might be easier to adjust.
Yeah but I think as jungler your communication is important. I am sure Helio is great at English, but probably not to that point.
It's a bit different from the top lane.
I do think this is a great pick up for EG though.... considering how bad Snoopeh is.

camera angle is a really nice update. I still think the best thing about VU for SR is the minions, they look so fucking awesome right now.

Just tried it out in a custom game, and a tower was doing 207 damage to minions when it had 164 AD. Where does the extra 43 damage come from? From what I can see, towers only do extra damage from multiple hits on champions, and otherwise the only thing they have is 30% armour piercing.

How much armor did the minions have? Perhaps the armor is low enough that they're bypassing their resists and doing more than true damage.

I think NA has tons of talents. But you can't just take some good challenger plaer and make him a pro. It took time to build 'faker'.
To see this, see C9. Sneaky in particular.
But, since NA region is so ludicrous and there is so much money in it, it is easy to just grab pros from other regions than to develop NA's own. But by doing so it also hurts NA's challenger scene greatly.

There was a patch that made Turret deals extra damage to minions so that champions have easier time to last hit under the turrets, did that one ever come through?
Edit: found it patch 3.14 Damage Base damage adjusted to match minion health growth. Base damage against minions increased to make last-hitting under turrets consistent.

That's only applicable for hitting champions.
