I mean the skill is called Ambush not "Run Away and Hide".
Also, did they not decrease the cost of Athene's?

Alright, we're going to call it a day with all the Thorin drama, guys. I figured if it was about SI, onGamers, TSM, etc, it had some relevance to League but somehow you guys managed to devolve the discussion into an issue about race of all things. Enough is enough. Let's move along now. -NeoIllusions

I mean the skill is called Ambush not "Run Away and Hide". Also, did they not decrease the cost of Athene's? well that's the point isn't it? They don't want to kill Twitch, just take away some power. Now Twitch is even easier to catch and kill than before, while still retaining his assassination potential. TL always complains about Riot homogenizing champions. This is a pretty good step towards the opposite direction. On the other hand, the Skarner re-rework is still really uninspiring to me. His passive is boring and unimaginative, especially after Braum's release.

Now he's Braum minus tankiness + crappy damage. Also re: Twitch nerfs Also no crap Twitch is strong now, I'm pretty sure I can find a dozen posts by people here saying that he would be strong after the vision changes... Also, is it me or does Takedown do an insane amount of damage? If she really wanted to, she can easily deal about a third of a person's health (the last third, being an execution and whatnot) with her pounce-swipe-aa-takedown combo. Takedown was always absurdly strong like that (esp. for how spammy it is), they also buffed AP ratios on her other two spells when they shot on AD Nid's dead corpse. It's just it's still not enough to really kill people from half or whatever, esp. late game, so jumping in still suicidal in a teamfight. In a skirmish though? The main drawback is that it reduces distance so your javelins will hit for less, but if you want to finish off someone it's more reliable and parts of why she's so good at cleaning-up even before she gets much AP.

It doesn't really address his strength at picking people off early-mid game and making it difficult to control vision due to his threat, but it would really surprise me if they ever hit that significantly.

Mid to late game Twitch is really hard to pin down because if you don't lock him down completely, his invisibility and movement speed boost could easily save him and now you're all in a god awful position and you haven't killed the rat. 6 seconds is a long, long time for it come up if you've taken damage. It doesn't really address his strength at picking people off early-mid game and making it difficult to control vision due to his threat, but it would really surprise me if they ever hit that significantly. My instinct is that 3 seconds is more than enough to kill Twitch mid-lategame, but that might just because I've been seeing an awful amount of Rango these days.

Youmuu's also got buffed which is pretty much only used by him. Yea, the AD carry itemization path changes are really big and definitely outweigh any individual champion changes. The 3% AS increase for 50 gold(2% for 75 on Zeal wtf?) on daggers makes them better early investments which makes BotRK primary weakness a bit lower. BotRK is losing some power on its active but its on-hit is going up by 60%! BT is being gutted, champions can get lane sustain from dorans. Its going to be crazy for a while until things are hashed out.

His kit is complex but makes sense and he feels kinda like Lee where you can always pull out huge plays just with your abilities. I agree, the issue with Yasuo is that for most mid lane champions, playing against him requires a somewhat illogical play style. One of the reasons I got him is because he was so annoying and I want to figure out what annoys a Yasuo.

Oh it's totally legit (and when there are a lot of contested picks (as opposed to pocket picks) in the competitive meta I'm pretty surprised close to no teams do this), it just amused me. Of course the fact that we proceeded to first pick Ezreal and "counter" Jax with Teemo (Jax went jungle, thought it'd be Kayle considering the 3 picks; not that it changed much, Jax was just top everytime he wanted a kill ![]() I'd just shrug, but after a 9 win streak I guess I'm kind of annoyed (not yet upset) that my promo is likely going to be decided by the Teemo pick and Ezreal refusing to auto the wave at level 1 (it's really important for him anyway considering he can't shove, but being against Draven+Karma he let them hit 2 first and they ran straight at him, forcing Exhaust and Heal for Draven's Heal and Flash and leaving Ez at 25% HP; it's probably one of my biggest pet peeve with Vayne and Ezreal players). + Show Spoiler + Edit: lost the following one too. First pick Vi -> Riven+Katarina for us -> they pick Darius and Akali and get advantageous lanes from the start, setting up a really trashy champ select (followed by blind pick Vayne into Twitch+Morgana and we get Blitz, so they'll be pushed to turret and not to shit unless grabs happen). Katarina and Vayne sit in their lanes and the enemy walk right into us as 4, Blitz decides to run into them and try for a grab, I try not to leave him alone but he ends up getting me killed when he grabs Morgana for a free point-blank Binding that I obviously can't dodge. Vayne proceeds to give no help on the first buff (Hecarim really needs help), meaning I'll be very slow and Vi will be near top first. This forces Riven to get pushed in and play defensive, although it also gives her an exp advantage. Vayne is obsessed with harassing Twitch and ends up suiciding by running 1v2 (Blitz had minion aggro), eat exhaust+Twitch's W, and forgot how to press Q when Morgana casts a binding, feeding a kill. Katarina is getting trashed by Akali's Q. All-in-all, game very uphill at champ select and top lost when Vayne didn't help, giving Vi freedom to camp before I arrived. Game over around 5 minutes. Meh.

If they do the E start, don't push your wave, wait till they've stacked it up to max and then hang slightly back towards the tower. Either they have to drop the stacks and probably push your wave in to tower or you bait them into dashing past you into tower range, which should be an easy first blood if they take the hit.
