Also been trying to pick up other roles so that I can Solo queue and not free lose everytime I'm not ADC. And I wanted to learn 2 champions for each other role. So far I'm learning: top: Bruiser Nid Jungle: leesin/Kayle Mid: Orianna Support: Gragas
Any suggestions for a second champ in each role?
I'm fine w/ the ADC meta atm even if Lucian and Caitlyn are a little too strong. I'm not all the happy with support right now though. I miss being able to play the classic supports and not get outscaled by the enemy support.

I notice even nightblue uses camera lock but can scroll when necessary. I find it such an inconvenience to aim when your perspective is changing with respect to the map as well as your opponents.
I hate scrolling while chasing though and am not Korean enough yet to use SZXC to scroll yet.
I use wasd to move the camera (1-4 for basic skills, q/e for summoners, items are other surrounding keys) because...well, those would be the keys I use in almost any other game to accomplish a similar concept. =P

For support thresh/nami are both good choices at the moment, mid with lulu/orianna (safe choices imo), jungle maybe kha/lee/elise?. I have no idea what goes top.

For soloQ? I think TF/Kat are way better for mid

This post is a couple pages old, but have you ever watched people play bw or sc2? Right after they sent the workers to mine at the start of the game, they just select and deselect the workers/hotkeys repeatedly to warm their hands up/inflate their apm/etc. My LoL equivalent is clicking on the minimap and hitting space bar repeatedly as fast as I can comfortably in the first minute or so of the game. It might give you a seizure, but it also might help you with your camera control lol.

Tbh you don't really need to learn mid unless you enjoy playing it a lot, you will rarely, if ever, get forced to go mid and as a result your skills will deteriorate.
For champs I'd suggest something like this:
Top: Irelia, Shyvana or Jax Jungle: Eve (only do Lee Sin if you're gonna play a lot of jungle) Support: Thresh, Morg or Leona, and then you can run one unconventional support that is still strong (Gragas like you suggested yourself is great). If you'd want to learn mid Orianna is a great starting point.

For support you should pick up Karma. Really strong and you can early pick her into anything.

lolking ranked stats are not updating correctly? I've seen my death amount per hero increasing but W/L + kills is not, I still have 3-1 Lulu instead of 9-1 kills not added but deaths are :\ damn

I would prolly avoid orianna if you don't plan on going mid a lot, or binging hard to learn her. She has quite a few matchup specific build orders and play styles. Lulu and kayle are much easier to pick up and play once in a while.

She snowballs negatively very hard, and has a soloq specific hard counter(darius), where you'd need to outplay ridiculously hard, or else get massive jungle help to win. Jax also is one where you need experience and outplaying to win.

I'd argue that Irelia is one of the strongest top laners atm, and she gets you the fundamentals down fairly quickly (also Darius is a counter but you can certainly outplay him and even then he is rarely picked, even for solo queue). Renekton and Trundle are both very strong picks as well.
For the Orianna point, she has everything you need to learn mid, she is one of the highest demanding mids in regards to positioning (maybe along with Syndra) and if you get that down you can basically learn any mid from there (one of my previous points was that you shouldn't learn mid if you don't care to play it extensively).

Plus Orianna is fun to play!

Ziggs and Lulu are the mid lanes i would recommend. Ziggs is pretty safe as a laner but can also make you snowball your lane. You also have a tool to reposition yourself. Lulu is just lulu
|
Yeah Ziggs is also a really great candidate for learning mids.

Btw does anyone knows what happens when Twitch uses his ult with a hurricane? I can't try it as I don't own the champion
