Or maybe it's for the CDR but that's paying a lot.

The stance is "information that is available to you" or some bullshit they spouted. So if the enemy is in your teams vision when he ults (lel) its completely fine by riot for a 3rd party program to then calculate and put a timer on it because the information was available to you.

The game client doesn't tell you what runes/masteries they are running so seeing an opponent ult doesn't give you enough information to calculate its exact cooldown. It would have to pull information from a third party site like lolking to calculate it. Your client already tracks the exact cooldown of your teammates ult with the shitty green dot rofl.

Lolnexus, pulls up this exact information. Why hasn't riot done something about it if its against the rules to know the enemies runes/masteries? What prevents another 3rd party program from using this information either directly from the client or outsourcing to lolnexus during the loading screen to gain it? Its a slippery slope.

So instead of information "available to you" being defined as information provided by the client, you're going to expand it to include information pulled from third party sites just to fit your narrative? lol Obviously the line is crossed when you use information pulled from a third party site like lolking.

Think of it this way, the SC HUD has a crapload of info including a scrolling bar that lists everything that is happening everywhere you see and yet how often do people get supply blocked? All the info you need is right there on your screen and yet keeping track of it is not easy. I think in the long run, pure diligence is not fun. Riot sees LoL primarily as a PvP game and winning handily without any conflict because your jungler doesn't track respawn times and yours does (which happens ALL the time) is a PvE focused experience.

Huh why are you asking an unrelated question now? Runes and masteries you would have to look at deviation from base but even then you don't see all the enemy stats so can't really do it. The best you can do is estimate what they are running based on popular trends along with that deviation. Don't really see what that has to do with timing enemy ultis. Timing enemy cooldowns is a pretty important skill at higher level play
