Really the only way to gank a LB is to know her shit's not warded and bait her into using distortion on you before the jungler goes in.

yep that's my experience playing both as and against leblanc as well. many champs beat her just fine in a 1v1. The trick is to stand in creeps to have a higher chance of dodging the chain (early w doesn't clear the wave) and biggest mistake I see people make is that they run away after her QW instead of just standing there and fight back.

If the jungler is smart and camps mid then she's a bitch to play against though

Also, for what it's worth.

Soraka mid is hilarious right now.

She's always had a super oppressive early laning phase that you can't possibly screw up because any moron can play her, but now that Heal removes healing debuffs to let her other heals have full effect her teamfight is like way stronger too.

I have been practicing her in normals and it's SO fun. The only champ I haven't just completely destroyed in lane so far is Ziggs.

They don't really "rek" her. They can farm safely and not get killed by her. lb is a lot more opportunistic. If the opposing jungler gank mid a lot or if your own jungler decides at any point that it's a good idea to farm wraith with 20% health then lb can take advantage of it.

LB gives me trouble as Ori but then again I'm rusty mid and I run Ignite out of habit. I assume the goal is to smash LB at early levels and punish her farming using her passive, take E at level 2, and keep punishing her with shield -> autos everytime she engages (shield as soon as the Q comes up so she doesn't silence you before, then right-click her), and you stay in your minions so that she can easily E you and you don't take aggro when you auto her, then at later levels since she'll outtrade you and dodge your spells easily (I assume a good LB will make sure that you're silenced long enough for her to leave if you put the ball on her Distortion mark and she comes back to it) you just push the wave then walk away so she can't harass you too hard?
Cant take LMS hipsters serious.

Well ofc when jungler camps you you can lose any matchup. That doesn't mean those champions aren't good vs her.As far as I understood the guy's comment he asked what champs can trade and do well vs her 1v1 and those 2 straight up win if your jungler keeps up with theirs and covers you.

Ori vs lb you start shield lvl 1 so you don't take creep dmg and you just poke her and make her drink pots. You can get 2/3 points in shield if you feel you need to and you can just q her when she tries to cs.

Concurring with nafta again here.

Zed: Farm lane for the most part. 21/9 + Doran's shield and Leblanc might bully you around for a bit at lvl 2-3 but from my experience she can't take you low to critical levels before she's actually already oom. You win the lane if she just messes up her combo once and misses the chain after QW. Then again Exhaust is op now so I'd not really play Zed. (Leblanc is probably one of the best remaining assassins because she bursts you so fast that you can't exhaust)

Syndra: Many believe Leblanc wins this MU but I think it's 60/40 for Syndra ( iirc Bjergsen said Syndra beats Leblanc, as well) Bullies super hard at lvl 1. If you hit 1 or 2 qs and she goes in on you at lvl 2 then just stand your ground and hit her. She's going to lose the all in.
It's pretty obvious when she's going to distort into you so you might have to practice it a few games but you'll stun her 100% of the time with QE (1.5sec is pretty op) and you kill her during the stun especially post 6. LB is basically never going to reach/kill you except if you facecheck a brush or if she's using WRQE but that gimps her dmg.

Fizz: Kinda obvious. E when she uses W to proc her Q > proceed to rape her.

Kayle: extremely easy lane imo. if she goes in QE autoattack .... Haven't tried it yet but taking exhaust here as kayle seems pretty good as it makes it easier to chase her even after she distorts back.

edit: oh and yeah as Alaric said Ori is like the primeexample of a champ where you just shield yourself continue to chase autoattack her after she used her combo because you actually outdmg her pretty hard early.

I'm not saying these guys counter leblanc but there are a lot of champs that have a pretty easy time vs her.

Maybe they should make LeBlanc's W do reduced damage to minions or something. Her laning power is a bit broken right now and the only way to punish her is to wait until she makes a mistake.

problem i see with ori vs leblanc, is the delay in the shield. Leblanc's combos/harass are usually instant. Unless you have godly reaction time, I'd say for the most part leblanc can play out the lane better than ori. At the highest level though, I think Ori is a bit favor'd in that matchup

if you're maxing E you don't need to try to zone with it, shield and auto, there's negligible delay on the shield if the ball's already on you.

You don't want the ball away from you anyway because a good leblanc can easily dodge any Q harass with distortion and destroy you while your ball is away. I'd rather keep the ball on me for the extra armor/MR and immediate shield.

Your goal isn't really to "beat" the LB though. It's merely to stop the LB getting kills and forcing a farm lane. Don't max E either to my knowledge. Get maybe 2 points early but that's about it.

You realize that lb is ranged too right? She doesn't have to land on you with distortion. If Ori miss Q, all her other offensive spells are useless. lb can still use q, r, and e without landing w.
