The game is way worse in soloQ now that so much of it relies on a person that pve's for alot of the game. Junglers being the most impactful role means that the laners have so much less room to make plays by themselves. Mid that used to be a really fun lane has turned into bully/push all day with very very few 1v1 mid fight occurring due to that if either jungler shows up the fight is just decided then... Honestly as a mid main I just prefer to play botlane right now because it feels what I do matters towards how the game turns out. Even if you kill mid 1v1 they just back off a farm and you can't roam w/o getting shoved in and losing farm/towers. Champions like Ziggs completely ruin midlane. Edit: it doesn't help that due to mobility creep every mage that doesn't have an escape is just really really meh right now, it just kills anivia, brand, cass... They are too easy to catch and just blow up. This leaves shit like ungankable leblanc, ziggs taking over midlane which is just annoying. At least botlane it feels like you can actually win the lane, since winning bot means 2 people on your team are ahead of their counterparts, instead of 1, since supports get so much gold that them being ahead is really impactful. | ||
