I tried flash/ignite and flash/tp, dunno it seems like you can play him however you want in lane. You don't need core, tear/catalyst is more than enough to punish melees under turret. | ||

Riot is a carcinogen. Ontopic why is classification like this even necessary? Honestly the champions don't benefit at all from being put in a specific corner. The entire fun is to see champions be used in new exciting ways that we haven't seen yet. | ||

I go TP except vs Mundo, and yeah hes pretty dumb with the mana crystal start. Irelia is still hard as fuck though. | ||

In fact that very posts shows how absolutely stupid it is to try broadly classify heroes. It's about buzz words at the end of the day. The word carry doesn't even mean anything in LoL yet is thrown around constantly to justify a whole host of non-connected crap. Look at how he defines marksmen. That is pretty much every hero aside from a tanky top lane and even then a top lane still deals sustained damage so it overlaps. So by that definition Riven is in fact a marksmen | ||

Which is really odd that Smash(hi!) used "carry" to describe Riven, considering Riot has moved away from using "carry" as a way to describe a group of champions. The issue is that "caster" fits under their Mage tag, but doesn't mesh well with "I'm gonna smack you with my sword/reversed startrekthing/bo staff." In the end, it's probably a result of "Fighter" being very murky. | ||
