From what I saw there's still a sound effect if you hit something with his E. Obviously there's also the stun particle, so I'm not sure how you've got trouble knowing if you hit or not?
Vel'Koz doesn't hype me at all for his spells, I'm more interested in his visuals. How badass will his ult look as he's dousing the battlefield in pinkie plasma lazor, how will his appendages be animated (if it's smooth ala Lissandra for example, and truly gives off a floaty impression, it can make his model really cool and in line with the "uncanny/weird" impression you expect from a void champion). His kit is overall pretty classic, sadly. On the other hand it looks like he'll reward positioning so I can't complain about that, good positioning for mages and assassins isn't necessarily flashy but you still really feel their impact more than, say AD carries'.

I mean, I'm bronze 1 right now, and more often than not when I win it's because the enemy team threw, not because of something my team did. Out of the last 7 ranked games I've played, I went 2-5 (after going 6-4 in placements), with one win being from the enemy team throwing, and the losses all being from my team raging at each other and feeding kills to their opponent. It doesn't help that they generally picked weak champions (MF + Leona vs Jinx + Janna, WW jungle vs. Wukong jungle) or high skill champs (Kassidan, LB).
It's why I want a duo partner; if I play bad then I can at least try to give the duo partner kills or put him/her in a position for them to carry me, and visa versa. And with me being jungler, if the partner is mid or top I can feed kills to them with ganks and snowball them that way. If the duo person is adc/support then I can try to gank bot or rely on them to make sure they don't throw and I can focus on making sure mid/top get kills or don't feed.

All of this has happened before and it will happen again.

I play without sound
his passive is monster sustain tho, he'll never buy mana

Did I really miss the statistics discussion? Aww...

Well, Xerath is Truly Truly Outrageous in ARAM. Best part was when the TF tried to suicide with ult, and got denied.

Honestly, in Bronze, whether a champion is good or not isn't all that important. Play what you like, get good with it, and you'll carry no problem.
In any case, don't be shy with pings if your allies are doing something stupid. It's a good habit to develop.

I disagree with this sentiment. Theoretically you can always outplay your opponent no matter how bad your champion/lane match up is, we are in our perspective leagues for a reason - we are probably fairly close in skills with other players in that league, and it's not possible to suddenly improve to Diamond I's skill level over night.
While I think everyone will agree that having a small yet focused champion pool helps, I think it also helps a lot to choose "strong" champions into this pool - because we should all try to get all the advantages we can get.

if you are in bronze and want win play faceroll champions like warwick, nasus, garen etc which dont require much to do well

Garen is like 48% in bronze lol.

new ult looks like flicking marbles at your enemy...plink plink plink
also E projectile doesn't match hitbox at all, and lack of detonation effect makes it hard to see if you hit them or it got creepblocked when you have to immediately follow up with WQ.
also Q can't be instantly fired by pressing QQ like vi's can, which is odd and annoying.
EDIT: ok you can QQ, but not with high ping, obnoxious
EDIT: ok you can QQ but not too fast...they should really fix that what happened to his old ult particle? did they move it to his w?
I saw a video of xerath's new ult and it looks kinda wimpy. 5.6k range is hilarious tho

I actually hated Jinx in concept/personality. She ended up being fun to play though so I mostly forgave her even though part of me resents any ADC that overshadows Kog Maw. Back then some TLers told me they thought Kog could became a thing again, I'm still waiting for that.

Am I the only one who only duo with people with a lot lower MMR than me? Because every time I duo I first pick. It's very annoying considering I play mid lane...

Kog wont ever be a thing while jinx is alive. Shes just a better version of him.

Xerath's ult is way less noticeable now, wtf Rito why not let his ult particle look like a huge circle on the ground so i can actually have time to avoid it?
