I wouldn't think of those as ability damage though. That's just an extra AA, which can crit like any other AA. Naut passive is unique in that it's the ability itself critting, instead of the ability giving you an extra AA.

So we have GP's q, Garen's E, Master Yi's Q, Pantheon's Q, Yasuo's Q, Yorick's Q* *The base damage doesn't crit. But the attack does 1.2 AD damage and it will crit based on this. Ergo some portion of the the bonus damage will crit on Omen of War, so an Omen of war IE crit should do +3.0 AD instead of +2.7 AD (It does not for Shaco's Q or any other ability which is not an auto attack modifier) Potentially: Jinx Q.The bonus damage does not crit, but the splash damage does. Potentially: Sions R: The ally healing scales on damage done which scales on crit

EDIT: nvm, only the target she hit gets critted (but bonus dmg is applied after crit). So doesn't fit criteria.

Say you got hit for a 250% crit with IE. Do you now take 240% (-10% flat), 225% (-10% total damage), or 235% (-10% of total crit portion of the damage)?

Also Shaco's Passive crits in that the +20% bonus damage is applied after critical strike. (so if you have IE and crit the bonus damage, as a function of your base damage would be 50%) On February 05 2014 03:38 Sandster wrote: How does the mastery that reduces crit damage work? IIRC testing indicated -10% of the total damage.

It's still weaker than Tabi against autos. Say you have a you have a Mundo with 3.5khp and 280 armor. An adc with IE+PD that crits for 1000 would have it reduced to ~300 (1000 *0.9 tabi *0.9 crit reduction *~0.37 from armor). The talent accounts for ~35 damage. That's not bad, but only ~1% of your total hp at that stage in the game. This is a full build ADC against a (nearly) full build tank. If there's only one major crit threat on the other team, I can see why people skip the 3-4 extra points needed to get this talent and instead opt for ones that matter more before endgame builds.

Otherwise Kayle's passive "crits" as well.
