I tend to like FH because resistances work well with his lifesteal and passive, but since resistances got fucked in terms of cost-effectiveness (and a bit the penetration changes) and you can't just afk farm anymore... Hm... maybe Sunfire into another belt to say fuck to burst, build BotRK or Ghostblade, then finish warmogs? I feel naked compared to champions like Jax who build triforce, since you only get 395 MS with boots 2 and no mobility spells. | ||

You damage is most likely enough to wreck any squishy champ if you time your ghost ult right, and your true damage and slows are good vs bruisers. Lifesteal is pretty much irrelevant in a teamfight, unless you're an ADC who deals tons of damage and even then its mostly used for sustain in poke wars and lane. You shouldnt rely on healing at all and just go pure hp for maximum EHP (theres a huge cutoffpoint for when its not worth getting hp because of his R passive and your true-self damage inflicted especailly if you're going to get ignited at some point, you want like 3.5k hp~ before its better to start getting any resists probably, and you'll get resists anyway if you get randuins and sunfire and hexdrinker or banshees) Looking at his stats again I doubt you need any damage items really. Olafs W should be seen purely as a laning tool and jungle sustain. Even nasus who does like 1k damage with his Q cant rely on his lifesteal too much. | ||

With a high level W and a low health Olaf and BotRK, you're looking at something like ~30% lifesteal x1.2, 36% lifesteal isn't that bad when you attack almost twice per second when you stick to people. I mean, obvously it won't turn you into Mundo, but you can easily buy 2-3 more seconds (which is an E for sure if you have CDR, and half its cd otherwise) of diverting attention. Def. not worth valuing resistances over HP though, sadly. | ||

It just doesn't work in LOL right now. I think its a shame, because I like the sustained-damage model of autoattacks when compared to something like Renekton or Zed but it just isn't that feasible to hit a lot of autos unless you are splitpushing. Irelia really suffers from this, but even Jax isn't really that great of a teamfighter right now. He is just a sick splitpusher once he gets his items rolling, but really needs a different build order, and more items to teamfight. | ||
