Roffles drove away all the casuals . We have to scrape together games now, doing it every day is probably the reason for that. Demand will naturally decrease if you do them more often.

We could always have a standard TL Inhouse channel in-game where people can idle. Dunno if it should be LiquidParty, always seem so quiet.

I think it would be better to have a channel for inhouses, that way you know that anyone in the channel is actually interested in playing customs, and you don't have to keep spamming "anyone want to custom?" all the time.

Also sponkz, any chance I could invoke aarhus pride to get you to carry me to plat, then everyone will have to respect me and shit, right?

A channel for Inhouses is shit. Full of idles, useless, bad idea.

This is why we do a new channel every time. It might seem like a lot for little results, but this is actually one of the reasons people show up and are ready to play. I want to make a lobby, fkn spam invite game in the chan, and get a Inhouse set up in 2 minutes. I don't want to have to scrape together people because we make them too often.

Eating Fondue Savoyarde is great every once in a while, but do it everyday and you'll not be able to stand the smell of it after 2 weeks. Same goes for Inhouses : people have a life, people wanna soloQ / play with friends / whatever, and people can't play every day & every night.

So I really feel 1 Inhouse a week + 1 in the Weekend should be what we should be striving for.

I'm happy to be proven wrong, but keeping people wanting more is better than making people not care about them cause they're usual business

except the current situation is there are 18 people showing up every time, but only enough fondue for 10 people, so 8 people have to either sit around for an hour or two before they're allowed to eat any, or go home hungry.

Not saying doing them daily is the right call, but if there is a balance between too many and not enough, surely it's around the point where 10-12 people show up hungry, rather then 18. Furthermore, having to cycle players out between games changes the dymanic of the subsequent games quite a lot. If the teams stay relatively stable between games, it lets people try and apply any feedback they get almost immediately, and get immediate tactile response to the changes they've made.

I know that last Saturday, where I got to adc with prog supporting for three games in a row, was incredibly educational. I was able to take small tips like where to stand in lane, how to manage my mana, when to pressure, and apply them in the next game in an almost identical situation. Being able to iterate and receive feedback a few games in a row gave me a ton of insight into how a few specific lane matchups work, as well as how to pressure successfully together with my support.

I'm just saying,
1, currently the demand is obviously larger then the supply, as there are way too many people showing up on time,
2, of the people currently coming to play, there are a relatively large number of them who are on almost every evening.

Of course there's the fact that these are still really new, but there's no real way of knowing whether fewer people will show up in the future as the novelty wears off, or more people as word spreads/people get used to making time for them. It'll be interesting to see how attendance changes over the next few weeks, but there isn't much harm in experimenting to find that equilibrium.

We're becoming remarkably good at having long discussions based on why one team lost, and what they could have done better, then proceeding to randomly assign blame upon a single champion being op

I'd say generally 2 inhouses a week certainly wouldn't hurt seeing the rather large demand for it =) I'm generally available sunday to thursday (sometimes friday and saturday aswell but they'r commonly more the social nights ^^). I also really love the analysis and advice on things that went right and wrong, it really helps out the play even just thinking/talking about it.

I'm going to be there tomorrow ! Couldn't play yesterday because my gf said she'll be at my place around 9:30/10 so I didn't want to start a game without being able to finish it. She showed up at midnight... N/C

That's one thing I wanted to ask you guys for advice; often when I'm Vik mid I get pushed into the turret early, and due to the high mana costs it seems I can't really stop this without ooming myself fast (even when starting flask+manapot (and 2 health)), what should I do to counter this? Just constantly AA minions and hope this keeps the push even? It's not the biggest deal since I can push back fine after the first back where I get my upgrade, but before that against pushers I can easily run 10-20cs behind..

an easy way to get more people to form a second inhouse is to tell your friends and lol buddies about TL.
Let them register here and they can join too.

if there is not enough for a second team spectate the game and make notes what the teams did wrong. This is very helpful for both sides

Well if they're constantly shoving you to tower from level 1, you could always call for your jungler to just run into lane and auto them once or twice. Doesn't even need to be a successful gank, just needs to scare them away from pinning you under tower so you can last hit.

Lasthitting under tower is normally relatively easy with most champions if their mid isn't forcing you to stand physically behind the tower (thats where getting your jungler to make him play a bit more scared comes in), you should be able to get all the melee and most of the ranged creeps each wave.

Other then that i guess just the normal things which help control creep waves. Autoing him forces his minions to aggro onto you which stops them pushing as hard, if you harass with laser try and angle it so it hits minions as well as him, if he didn't start wards then freezing lane a little infront of you tower can force him to either back off, or risk getting ganked.

Any particular matchups you're having trouble with? I need to practice vs victor so we could do some 1v1 til lvl 11 customs or something if you're up for it

I almost never get pushed as Viktor. Most of the time it's because people simply don't try early on, and I tend to push myself by going to Q-auto them every time they last hit from level 1 onward. It's a bit annoying to keep auto-ing because you only have 500 range but it's doable too.

It's mostly true bullies that I struggle with, say Cassio, Syndra, and champs like Zed. While against most champs I'm fairly confident I can outtrade or at least trade even with Vik, these champs have the sustain to go on after the trade that makes me afraid to trade, and they all also seem to have fairly cheap aoe pushing power. I'm always up for some practise on any matchup btw!
