Edit: I have to say though, that lolking shows different top 10 winrates in champions and charts tab. Don't know which is correct, if any is. Champions tab is probably over all gamemodes. | ||

which is partly why patches often inspire a lot of head-scratching or worse on the part of the community, because balance (at least with respect to nerfs) is more and more done with competitive play in mind. also relevant is riot's design philosophy of keeping the game 'artificially' fresh through direct changes. even if some nerfs are unnecessarily severe, no real damage is done to the game as a whole as the meta simply shifts to other champions, which makes the game more interesting to many and, to be a bit cynical, increases profits by keeping a rotating roster of champions in the spotlight | ||
