Most of the time, it's just that you're too reckless with your comfort picks, and tend to do less stupid shit with characters you don't know that much. If you're a Lee main, you'll go for the flashy moves every time. Then you play a normal laner you don't play much, you just play safe and you win, because overall you have a more positive impact on the game.

Personally when I played passive and just outfarmed opponents I won A LOT less.Being overagressive seems better in yoloq.

Seriously how do I deal with vlad when playing zed. After his first back it seems I start loosing trades hard, and if I ever try to ult him he pools. I have tried just pushing him out and roaming, but he clears waves pretty fast and chunks me down. It's worse than playing against kayle, at least your harass is meaningful against her.

Why are you trying to trade with a zed that early. Surely you should be just surviving until your sustain kicks in later on instead of going on the offensive so early.

Well you're not playing passive, you're playing pussy. We all know that.
Playing passive on a hero you know well doesn't work because you won't YOLO enough during mid-game. To win soloQ you need to be sort of crazy.

As I said before, Vlad is a major Zed counter. You have to really, really snowball the lane hard early on (like the very first few levels), which is difficult enough as is when playing as a Zed vs a Vlad. If he's playing well, he won't die to you early, and after that, you're basically fucked.
Plus he outscales you as the game progresses.
So basically, go all-out with a red pot+3 gambit and pray he mispositions early and grants you a kill. If not, the lane will be Vlad's no matter what. Either you are able to kill him before the first back (which is a difficult proposition in the Zed v. Vlad matchup), or you lose flat out. If you snowball it, push out and roam and try to win the midgame, because he'll naturally outscale you in lane even with a deficit.
You can try jungler ganks. Vlad's also one of the weakest jungle follow-up champions in the game (even Soraka's better) early on, so you do have some leeway for early aggression against him (not if you're top, though).

To be expected. Shacker wasn't good. Nrated is more interesting. It sounded like lemonpups have/had a pretty good analyst and i'm not sure how good nrated is at the role

I main zed in gold 1 with over 100 games, and the vlads I face seem to recognize when they are killable pre 6 and just back. Sure they loose a wave,but they come back with some cloth armors. I really dislike non ward starts, but mabye I'll start red pot vs vlad just for kicks.

Sucks that good talent doesn't get picked up by top teams because they rather keep their old guys that haven't performed in a lot time. Not to say Regi is like that though, rather speaking about some other teams.

It seems that ecco has already found a challenger team though
I am currently playing on an amateur team named "The Bop Squad" which consists of Hoodstomp, Lohpally, Ninjaken and Richerich. I am enjoying my time with them and think we have a strong future ^
Lol hoodstomp is playing again, time for CLG black to go 5/5 in LCS.
