You are assuming vayne sucks.You can block a xin e before it even reaching you easily.Vayne has a team as well I am not talking about 1v1.When I play the thing I have issues with is stuff like kennen who just zone me hard.Aoe is the best thing vs vayne other than lissandra/vi+w/e combo or some shit.

ghostblade is stronk on xin and in scrappy games on vi but its one of those items that only works on certain champs that need cdr and armourpen and still auto attack a lot
most autoattackers have on hit shit like irelia w or are just straight up ad carries and dont need cdr
black cleaver sounds better in theory but its more of an anti tank weapon and normally xin doesnt worry about them though sometimes vi does so its a better buy on her (bc+W armour pen+W%hp damage so op)

Posted in the Yi thread, I like it on new Yi because with that and Zephyr your Alpha strike has like, no CD and you just tear the shit out of teamfights. AD/CDR Yi is my favorite to play right now.

Ghostblade is a really weird item because I feel like its numbers are strong, but the awkward combination of stats it has makes it only useful on a tiny number of champions.
I've done math to prove that it's the best 4th damage item for Tristana and Quinn, and I think crit+CDR+AD is basically what you want on this new Yi, but for most champs it's just awkward.

Physical Damage: 25 / 60 / 95 / 130 / 165 (+ 100% AD)
Additional damage to minions & monsters: 75 / 100 / 125 / 150 / 175

Physical Damage: 20 / 35 / 50 / 65 / 80 (+ 100% AD)
Additional damage to minions & monsters: 80 / 125 / 170 / 215 / 260
The idea here is to cut down the base damage while not touching the scaling. Yi was intended to be a high risk, high reward champion. This way, his late game is barely touched while taking away a lot of free damage (the invulerability frames of the Q is alot more important than the actual damage in late game teamfights). The minion damage is to compensate the base damage cut for jungle yi.
Wuju Style
Bonus Attack Damage: 7 / 9 / 11 / 13 / 15% AD
Bonus True damage: 10 / 15 / 20 / 25 / 30 (+10 / 12.5 / 15 / 17.5 / 20% AD)
changed to
Bonus Attack Damage: 15% AD
Bonus True damage: +10 / 12.5 / 15 / 17.5 / 20% AD
Again, the goal here is to cut down his base damage while leaving his late game scaling relatively untouched. Having his passive bonus attack damage always set at 15% compensates a bit for his q base nerf, and help out his relatively weak early game.
I see Yi as an auto attack based Khazix, a bit higher risk for a bit higher reward. But the current Yi is able to start destroying people much too soon with his powerful AOE resets (with a few seconds invulnerability) that khazix can only dream of.
