Gambling's not about winning or fighting the odds or applying smarts to make profit out of a situation. It's all about pretexts and impudence.

Most people did say he was outclassed after he dropped from the most highly picked champ with a 50+% pick rate (about half of all games due to Lolking's weird definition of pick rate) to what he is now. I felt like I was missing out by not jungling Lee when his pick rate was so high.

Maybe all the corki buffs will bring him back in. Varus still stupidly strong. Cait still going to be popular pick.

A certain, foolish someone promised that, in such an event, he would stream for an entire day and jungle whatever champions the peanut gallery deemed worthy to inflict upon him. The level of stupidity required for someone to make such an idiotic, ill-advised gamble is inconceivable, but nevertheless there was one ignorant man who did. That silly sod is me. Tomorrow, starting around 16:00 GMT (+00:00), Montegomery's Jungle Japers begins. I regret everything. I reserve the right to practice any prescribed jungler in custom games before going into the queue to tarnish my good name. I also reserve the right to drop out of the ranked queue and into normals if champion select becomes a game of dodgeball. Finally, I reserve the right to weep bitter tears of regret, sorrow, profound sadness, and emptiness in any way I deem necessary. Jungle Morgana. No really, it's legit.

Also it fits the weird niche of "not really a full item and the stat efficiency isn't really good enough to actually warrant buying it" even if you get a lot of mileage out of passive. If I find it hard to buy wriggles when it costs 2k and brings a lot to the table, how am I supposed to ever convince myself to buy executioners calling when it gives 20% crit and the champions I want to buy it on generally don't need crit? Poor slot efficiency you say? Builds out of a gp10? Only useful against champs who rely on sustain to win small fights? Could this be the next great support item? + Show Spoiler +

Here is the setup I really like atm : Runes : Spellvamp quints, AS reds, Ar/MR for the rest Masteries : 21/0/9 Items : Nash's Tooth -> Lich Bane -> Liandry against fat tanks, Rabadon against squishies -> GA or DFG for maximum kill power. In fact I don't really like GA since you won't do much when you respawn as Kayle, and you shouldn't die from assassination with your ult. Spellvamp quints and AS reds are beast for early game though, you can clear wave + wraiths/wolves only with your first DRing. If you afk farm mid you should get nashor's tooth + 2 Drings by 12 minutes.

Especially in the hands of the mechanically skilled. But his late game can be sooooo suspect.

You know who would probably get Executioner's? Thresh. Because that guy is an asshole and can do whatever he wants since he gets so much for free.

But his late game can be sooooo suspect. tbh I've always felt that lee sin's comparatively bad lategame is overstated. Assuming you're talking about jungle Lee Sin, his lategame damage output won't be nearly as high or impressive as it is through the early and midgame. But Lee Sin still has amazing peel and potential initiation prowess in the hands of a skilled player. His E is a pretty damn powerful attack and movespeed slow; granted it only lasts for like 4 seconds or something, but it's still pretty strong. Lee's ult is also a very strong displacement tool. His role as a jungler definitely shifts from early game to late game, but it's not as bad as people make it out to be. If you're playing him as a solo lane assassin, he never really falls off.
