Plus, this thread is really unwieldy at times, I have a ton of spare time on my hands and sometimes I leave for 4-5 hours and there are 20+ pages to sort through, which would be great if it was 20 pages of TL quality discussion, but it tends to not be that be that way lately. Lastly, I feel that while it is awesome to get to know more about the community through these discussions, it makes it almost impenetrable for a newcomer to the thread who wants the quality posts that Team Liquid is known for (and differentiates itself from pretty much every other LoL fourm in existence because of this). Imagine it is your first time finding the thread - you're coming from SC2 or Reddit or wherever, but you find the general thread cluttered with in-jokes, pokemon discussion and whatever else - it discourages people immediately. Since this community has tried to pride itself on being open to newcomers coming in - how can we do so when the discourse is impenetrable? | ||

I don't mind two threads. The amount of traffic we had 6months ago is like half of what we have now. LoL is growing among TLers. Still, there's probably a reason why I don't follow any of the SC threads. Where is the new threads thread that Neo made yesterday? I can't find it. | ||

No, they slowed down their process and it's better this way. They get more time to balance and think and creative innovative concepts. | ||

They did say they were going to slow down the hero release cycle by double or more. Up until end of 2012 it was 1 every 2-3 weeks. Now it's one every ~6 weeks? That's about what they've stated as their goal. They've probably also diverted a lot of the 'new champion' resources over to 'rework champion' - we've seen quite a few reworks this year so far. Riot's also said Lucian will probably not be out til 3.11 - he's on the PBE, but they wanted to test him more thoroughly - while they're happy with his balance, they probably dont want to be releasing any more quasi-sketchy stability patches, they've done that enough and as League grows as a game (and its competitors too), the cost of releasing a sketchy patch rises more and more. | ||

I also had similar issue when I play psp DJ max (especially DJ max actually) even when I turn the brightness down in a well lid room. I am thinking maybe it's because the colouring are too saturated and colourful? It might not be that the particles are too bright since I am fine when I play protoss death beam lazer or HoN urber flashy shiny graphics or even playing the psvita at lowest (which is still pretty bright) in a complete dark room you guys should probably beware about it because even if you can't feel it now, it might be damaging your eyesight more than you would expect | ||
