Oh well that blows. It also makes absolutely no sense. You're objectively one of the more known Lee's and even if you weren't, you're a diamond1 Lee main. It'll be a shame if some of the invites end up being just random pros that have no association to Lee(kind of like HSGG and Riven) as well. | ||

So the comparison is only ap/lvl vs mpen blues. Runes should be viewed in two lens. The first is that the rune you pick are necessary to get through the laning phase. The second is that runes give you mid-late game extra power. In lanes such as the AD-Support duo, Flat Armour cannot be compromised. You take it. End of story. In these lanes, the auto harass and timing of cs is what is going to determine how the lanes play out, and with the abundance of ranged supports you're going to be eating lots of harass against anyone decent. If you don't take Flat Armour, you are going to take so much more damage that you WILL lose every single trade unless you are playing against absolute idiots. This applies to both the AD and the Support because both are in a position to be eating harass. The AD needs to survive the harass in order to stay in lane and cs, the Support in order to stay healthy enough to be a realistic threat and provide lane presence. This is also why GP10 Yellow are terrible - that extra minuscule gold means absolutely nothing if you've already lost lane completely because you have no lane presence. Same reasoning applies to Armour/lvl. By the time it surpasses Flat the lane is probably already decided and it's probably going to be decided against you. Same reason to take Flat AD Runes to last hit too. The extra scaling means jack when all that matters is just buffing your rather poor base stats to just make it though the laning phase. You can make a similar argument for Flat MRes for a lot of lanes where there is magic damage (such as Vayne taking Flat MRes so Zyra Plants hurt less in lanes etc). Only exceptions are when you're not actually facing that form of damage such as taking MRes/lvl in lane generally, such as against Renekton. Same reason a lot of junglers in S2 and somewhat in S3 take Scaling MRes; you don't really take magical damage as a jungler until you're about the break even point anyway. Things such as AP/lvl becomes rather different because at the very early levels Flat AP do not actually add all that much extra to your spells outside of extreme cheese. Scaling on the other hand will increase your damage output as the game goes on and then additionally scale with Masteries and Deathcap. Similar argument goes for Mana Regen because the regen scales as your spells cost more mana. Additionally, the break-even point for those is low enough that by the time you hit 6 (which is when you get your Ultimates and you'd expect people to start all-in'ing based on who hit 6 first) you're practically getting the same benefit anyway. Same argument goes for CDR/lvl because lower levels you likely won't have the mana/resource to be spamming spells but they scale as you grow and you can hit special CDR caps. | ||

I don't know how old Nbee is (pretty sure 18+ though) but there's nothing worse than people mocking you about a misplay just because you're e-famous. Obviously it's all in jest but you hear that nearly every game and it can get old. | ||
