For guitar, I had an idea about something to try when scrimming:
At every 10 minute interval during the game (10 min, 20 min, 30 min, etc.), pause and have the team/shotcaller decide what the overarching goals of the team are at that very moment. Whether they want to contest objectives in x minutes, try to steal a buff, push/freeze which lanes, ganks, pressure which tower, likely enemy positions, etc. I think it would help your/any team improve making more decisive and better calls and improve game flow and control. Especially late game where most teams falter, I think being able to think about what the team should do next during practice would go miles in improving late game calls. I know teams do this when reviewing replays but doing it "in the moment" is likely to be beneficial since it simulates more what it's really like during a match.
Of course you'd have to find a team that would accept to those circumstances and you can forgo pausing if in the midst of a teamfight. Just a thought.

I finally purchased Lee Sin, after 5-6 games with him and getting his mechanics down...I don't regret it a bit.

That's actually a really cool idea.

This is an interesting idea. Good luck on getting a response because more than likely none will be given.

That's really cool stuff, now if only official(???) TL gave you more recognition as well. I would love to see an LoL article linked on the front page. Of course I'd ignore 99% of the comment, but it would be cool to see you guys gets some more recognition for the difficult work yall do. It's cuz the Koreans know what's up. They can recognize quality when they see it
That and unlike the vast majority of reddit LoL, they don't have the attention spans of goldfish. Taking 10 minutes to read a writeup that goes deeper into strategy is also not in most of reddit LoL mentality.
A 20 second video of a "big play" is going to get a hell of a lot more upvotes than an informative article. It's a sad fact of life.

That's because majority of the people are looking for entertainment, not study.

the vote system is straight up rigged so that it shuttles garbage to the front page, it's not a straightforward +1/-1 and there's more wrong with it than the 'obvious' stuff. Basically anything that takes more than a half second to process and consider automagically gets thrown in the dumpster because of underneath the hood stuff like vote quality being indirectly related to time since submission. If you read a subforum that doesn't allow images you just get the next worst thing which is sensationalism and puns. If you move down another moderation level which hardly any of them do you still have the pervasive problem that the voting system is an engine for confirmation bias. opinions most people don't agree with just get automatically hidden.
the issue you guys are discussing is not just one of community appeal and fear of reading, reddit is specifically geared to push low quality, fast consumption information that comes in tiny little pieces like popcorn. You guys are wasting your time trying to think about how you can make TL style content appealing to reddit. I can't emphasize enough how worthless it will be in gaining an audience.
the site is literally built to ignore long form content. it's a matter of mechanics.
you can argue that that's what attracts people, but what's the point? when you're working against the platform it doesn't matter whether your potential audience is large or small because you can't get the message to them.

That's a nice comic Riot released for SGU.

Apparently they split up the article in three translated parts and one got 35,000 and the other two in the 20's.

Could you post a link to the article? I'm kinda new to TL LoL so please forgive me if it's somewhere obvious and I managed to miss it.

He's out, 1950 with 4 new Summoner Icons.

Holy cow, Riot is getting better at promoting their stuff every time.

he came out literally right after I posted that <_<

I'm amazed at how much detail they put into SGU. Whenever you kill a unit, a spirit comes out that's the same color as the stance you're in. All the little things.

The skins are so much better than they were a few years back

Does make me kinda sad you cant mix and match icons with the diff borders tho.
Would be nice to have Curse + Phoenix imo.
