IMO he is a bit weak, but I also don't think it is viable to buff him, because he is so snowbally as it is. The best hope we can have is that Aatrox stays kinda bad, like Fiora, because the alternative is a terribly annoying champion.

His Q AoE is too tiny, it's incredibly easy to dodge because it hits like nothing and you pretty much never hit more than 1 target with it. His E skillshot also is too slow. I also would like it if his W drained more hp while dealing more dmg, keeping the heal the same.

I feel like we're all going to be eating our words when some pro figures out that they can play him like Zac and just build full tank/hp to abuse his revive to relentlessly towerdive

tbh for that purpose I see absolutely no reason to pick Aatrox over Zac.

Would you LIKE it, as in you think that change would improve LOL, or do you just think that would be a good buff for him?
Cus it would defiantly be a buff, but it wouldn't really make Aatrox a fun and interesting champion.

Ugh, I just feel that compared to Zac, he'd just be so toothless past midgame. Idk, the whole champion is just really annoying and frustrating as and against. Too bad, his character design had a lot of potential >.>

I never thought Zac was trash, he has knockups, jumps, manaless and % hp. The revive mechanic is basically icing on the cake.
Aatrox is a champ that I really wish had an auto attack reset. Even though they gave him a heal, a gap closer, a range steroid, damage steroid and an attack speed steroid, he's still weak to the same thing all melee champs are. It's hard, like in DOTA BKB worked because the pace of the game was slower but here it would just be stupid OP-- like look at Olaf before he was nerfed and just trucked down enemy carries.

Not to mention the ult gives you cc immunity and the animation lasts forever.

Aatrox is really good if you can snowball him. It's definitely difficult to unless you know how to play him well though. I also think his Q, E, and R can be improved significantly because atm I feel they are all somewhat lackluster.

I'd rather see Aatrox's leap moved to his ultimate and his Q changed to a PBAoE, I think that would allow riot to buff his other skills. I doubt they'd make such a major change to a champ that was just released though, and that would make him too similar to Malphite.

Eh. I was under the impression that people thought Zac was mediocre/great straight from the get-go.
I remember I personally thought Zac was absolutely fucking broken when I bought him day 1 cause of his ulti being basically cc-immunity on top of massive damage and basically unstoppable initiation.
I'm really disappointed in Aatrox though. His Q and E are just too tiny/slow to be any useful. Aatrox's ulti is kinda cool, but imo lackluster. I really hoped his W would've been more unique and complex than what it is; I would've preferred if it was like Maliken's (HoN hero) passive toggle where the healing mode makes his autos do -X damage but heals X life on every hit, while the damage mode make his autos do +Y damage but hurts you X life on every hit. It makes the drawbacks of each mode much more pronounced and makes toggling more meaningful imo. Whereas now you're basically always in healing toggle. I also wished his passive was more interesting than just some revive passive on a cd. I was hoping that it would have no cd but instead would require the blood well to reach a specific threshold before activating on top of not having him be invincible during the "res" period. There's more interaction this way in the sense that if you don't lock and focus Aatrox down when he's low/ressing he'll just keep rampaging through your team, but with good focus and cc he just dies. The way it is now is really stupid. He literally just has 2 lives every fight and there's nothing you can do about it. Also, to compensate Aatrox having 2 lives Riot also had to make his base HP pretty shitty for a melee.

I think Aatrox is terrible as a top laner, but he's probably fine as a mid or a jungler in the right team comp.
