More likely it's just double filling for scrim purposes.

Although this isn't the roster change that is specified/hinted at earlier, TSM's GM has stepped down from TSM. Seeing as how he is the current VP of crunchyroll, I'd expect him to stick around in the LoL scene in other ways. Possible sponsorships/ crunchyroll team? Judging by the comments, it's not really that unlikely to occur.

Further down the thread, Travis(SotL) states this was unrelated to the news coming up.

I wouldn't be surprised if he's involved heavily in the challenger circuit. He said recently in an interview that it is something he wants to see improved.

I'm surprised vayne didn't snowball completely out of control with a 3/0 start.
The female caster is starting to get on my nerves though.
Whoever taught her english has to have been a brit.

Yes, very surprising. I thought the game was over after that 3-0 lead, but TPA's team fights were amazing. Tied 1-1, for what I believe is a bo3.

Is TF not a high priority pick? was left to second last pick.
Also it's quite interesting how different metagames develop.
The Chinese are all about the massive initiation/pick, Koreans are the pushing meta, SEA plays much like KR does, and EU is quite mid-centric.
And then their's NA, which unfortunately seems to be the runt of the litter.
EDIT: Naut blue stolen. Gonna be one unhappy diver.

It was banned the past two games, but they traded it out for that kennen ban I believe. I wasn't paying the most attention, but it definitely slipped through.

I don't watch a lot of Chinese games, but is it common for the lanes to swap so often? I feel like they're missing so much farm o.o

Say what you will about NA's skill level, but NA's meta is the most diverse and interesting.

The same thing occurs in LCS NA games. Don't know what you mean by this. Lane swapping can be chaotic due to people wanting a decent match up for their solo laners. You'll probably see a lot of it when a team has someone like Karthus to pressure the solo laner harder. In this case, they are pressuring Khazix.

I just haven't really seen a bot lane swap 3 times in the first 5 minutes, looking at the CS they clearly aren't missing much, just felt weird to me lol

lane swapping is more than just pressuring a solo laner but also taking towers to push more towers and get map control that way.
that female announcer is rooting for TPA so hard lol "malphite's teleport is down... HUGE ADVANTAGE FOR TPA"

people thinking that OMG is from japan, oh god

Well yes, there's more involved. What it essentially comes down to is lane swapping for pressure on the lane for their objective. It's just easier to explain if you point out that some champions are just not as good in 1v2 lanes. Karthus is the easiest example as he's really going to hurt from the 1v2 lane swap.

Not too sure who is saying that considering this event is hosted in China as seen in the leaguepedia article I linked.

Eh I don´t really enjoy the ´we have an advantage lets randomly push lanes until a teamfight happens´ meta too much. So much passivity. Chinese teams farm a lot too but at least they know how to force objectives when needed.

It's also just that OMG's style is so conservative (WE's is as well). Other Chinese teams like iG play more varied styles.
