Oboy, I hope someone at Riot saw that coming...
This might sound crazy but isn't it possible that individual regions handle things like giving out compensation?
I doubt Riot's main office in Santa Monica decides which regions get compensated for server issues. More likely the KR branch decided to give out the skin since it's likely the KR branch was the one who resolved the server issues. It'd be a colossal amount of work if only the people in California had to fix every server's issues and figure out whether or not to give compensation (along with what kind of compensation).

Anytime we play 5s we refuse to ban Amumu. Sometimes the enemy team will be blue side and first pick him. Then we just invade their blue. Best case scenario we steal blue or get first blood. Worst case scenario Amumu starts bandage toss and we retreat (I don't think we've ever been first blooded by an Amumu team).

Quickly!! Diana vs Ori, suggestions~!

If you're Ori just don't get hit by Q. Abuse her hard pre-6. Level 6 be passive but harass when safe (like when Q is on CD_ and don't get hit by Diana Q.
If you're Diana play safe until 6, then land Q, then acquire free kills.

I always thought people picked Shen because they wanna be toplane, but are firstpick.
IDK thats why I pick the Croc.
Shen's only real problem is if you are shen your team is likely to do a few dumb things: 1. Engage 4v5 when you start pushing, like when you are not even to river yet. 2. The player you ult runs super far out of the fight. 3. Watch you splitpush and do nothing dangerous elsewhere so you get 4v1'd and your team takes nothing.

Sooo question for the jungle mains here:
What do you do when your toplaner dies 1v1 around 7:00 - 7:15 and let's assume your current position is around mid somewhere. You see a huge wave pushing in and you give the enemy jungler enough respect to know basic buff spawn timings. Do you go farm the wave or secure the buff? Probably even trickier question for purple side because as a mid Main I value the second Blue spawn alot.
|
Farm wave. If you go to blue buff, your going to be outnumbered cuz no top laner to help you secure buffs.
|
Depends on the champs, depends on how pushed other lanes are, I think in hypothetical situations you'll never have the right answer because it changes based on so many variables. It does show the importance of just spending 75g on your first buy on a ward though because if you ward the buff and then take the lane farm you're super duper safe.
|
I'm talking botside buff, so for purple side blue and for blue side red.

That doesn't apply to the situation he raised though with purple side blue buff.
|
I think it all depends on what you value more. Top tower or the blue buff.
The situation is rigged to begin with though. If a top laner dies without anyone assisting and there's a huge enemy creep wave that means he did something fundamentally wrong. It's tough to say what the correct call is when a mistake like that is made. There will be no call that will get you out of that situation, instead it will be damage control.

Edit: Everyone from TL LoL should be saving for Worlds. Do the right thing! Everyone from TL LoL to Worlds then we bandwagon on Neo's pro connections to get to all the sikk pahtays Pls be in November and not October so I'm 21 *crosses fingers* Edit: On a more serious note, if they divide if up again like they did last year would you rather have more people for the group states or the finals? I assume the group stages since it's actually more games. I kinda hope they don't do that again lol. Assuming the situation is same as last year, I'd definitely go to the Finals. It's inside USC's indoor arena and there's so much more hype just because it's the god damn finals of the season. Granted I didn't attend the former half of the playoffs (group stage) because I don't live in LA and I couldn't get two weeks off but someone who actually went to both weekend should chime in. I'm hoping they do indoor for the group states as well. While cool in theory, the outdoor venue caused some issues (glare mostly). I'm torn between wanting to see more games or be there for the finals, no way I can do both. Guess we'll wait for some more concrete details to come out.

I'd hope there's someone in the main office keeping tabs on things such as this even if they directly don't handle the situation.
Or what are your thoughts about EUW being generally shafted? I mean, the "EUW down, better give NA some RP" didn't come out of nothing.
Not that I want RP or shit, I'd settle for the servers working.

They don't have the patience to wait for good engagement opportunities during splitpushes, they don't react properly to being ulted, and they make you waste ults becausr they think having a Shen entitles them to fight 1v4 far away from the rest of the team. Then you don't ult them, they die, and they rage.
I have like a 6 KDA with Shen and about a 35% winrate because of this.
Worse is when you ping to target someone when a gank is coming and/or our jungler is coming to countergank and you ult and the person ult'd literally walks away for 2 seconds then turns back, which by that time they are out of range.
My Shens the same way. Like 7KDA but like <0.500 win rate.
9/10 times I'd let most of the common low elo bans go "Malph/Blitz/Mumu", but somebody always dodged when other team gets said champ.

In arranged i would consIder the situation a lot more. Fr instance is your toplaner in a good position to come back, how much will the wave damage tower, how much gold/ exp is it for you and will that be important for a dragon timing? Could your mid and bot defend ordelay a steal or attempt on dragon? In solo q, the gold/ exp of a blue steal is usually not worth a huge wave. Dragon is definitely worth considering, but most junglers cant take that early without a significant lead in mid/bot.

I'd love to be able to go to worlds, but it'll probably be way out of my budget unless Comcast decides to hire me. I got so mad when I found out IPL3 was at Atlantic City the day of. -.-

Anyone watching DarkForce stream? I'm interested to see how he was developing. Last I heard he was focusing on Top lane and was either approaching Diamond, or just breached it.
Edit: I also just saw that Dyrus is going to analyze some of the Allstars games from his point of view. Could be cool for anyone interested to tune in.

Even if you're purple side, if the enemy jungler isn't on the bottom half of the map then odds are they probably aren't going to go steal it anyway and even if they do, it's not worth losing a huge creep wave over.
Also between all the wards you, your midlaner and your support should have on the map, you'll see them going for the blue anyway so you can either just go kill them or walk down and take theirs.

Since when did jungling become so popular? It's been kind of difficult to get jungle in games lately.

It's still solidly part of the bottom 2 roles along with support. Top mid and adc are a lot more contested.
