Long story short, the Jayce totally destroyed the lane. It was at the level where I could just shield the Jayce and he jumped in on the enemy Ezreal and basically oneshot him. Also, every time he did his acceleration gate Q I just shielded him and it dunked the opponents for like half their HP. Continued into the lategame of course, where the Jayce basically 1v3d them at one point. I sort of wonder why Jayce is never played as the ADC. He was even supposed to toplane, probably isn't good at the ADC role, and did quite a bit of work. | ||

Jayce has low AA range, so unless he gets stupidly ahead, he falls off. Me and my friends tried so AD Jayce (usually with Lulu/Sona) when he first came out. Seemed alright, but we went back to traditional stuff, idr exactly why. | ||

On May 05 2013 15:41 ticklishmusic wrote: it's surprising how may people just dont look at what items you build. built tanknivia, still got focused. its pretty stupid what happens when you try to kill someone with 3 RoA and double lives. i think the one thing i hate the most is when people say "why didn't you focus xxxxxx" since i am jungler for my arranged 5s team and the current strategies revolve around having budget tanks come from the jungle, i just learned that my favorite heroes tend not to be tanky... so now i have to learn how to play like that. being a good tank is more than just charging in blindly, but there's an art to distraction. not only do you want to make the enemy blow their cooldowns and autoattacks on you, but you also want them to work hard to try and make them spend time running after you to use their cooldowns while balancing the distance properly so that they can't engage on more damaging targets. it's realistic aggro management. so sometimes, it's not about them "focusing" you, but the fact that in the engagement, you play a good distraction role and you were able to disrupt them from really getting on bigger targets. combined with the fact that you are anivia and you still do good damage because of base damage and ratios and it's not easy getting past tanknivia. | ||

This seems to be 1000x more effective than the tanky champion chasing the ADC for half the map even though that might end up in a kill as well, because the tanky champion has the opportunity to go for low hp targets and so on. | ||

Except I've played vs Trundle a grand total of like 3 times in the past year, and his ult got changed, and his W increases healing done now, so I really don't have a clue how to. Hence why I asked. | ||

Right now I have ashe, but I dont like her, the attack animation is awful imho. Trist, which I really come to love, but I wanna learn new champions. corki, who i currently play and who feels very weak because of his low mana pool sivir, which I also dont like. no escape, no peel, people just dive on you and kill you while you desperately try to kite them with your passive. Really annoying. So, twitch is cheap. Kog 'maw, graves and draven look really fun though, I dont know. Never played them t.t maybe you can help? Oo | ||
