However, I still think on Morde you might as well go Amp Tome + 1pot. Shove the lane as hard as you can, then back around 3:30 to avoid the first red buff jungle gank (assuming you are facing a blue-start jungler). Jungler's first doublebuff gank should be much closer to 3 minutes. With a smiteless blue? Maybe. If you choose to do wolves -> smiteless blue -> red -> gank, then I will just hand you the FB for your efforts. Most people around my level don't try that hard. Also not every jungler can do it. That's like... the standard route now, isn't it? I see it 80% of the time hwen im top lane, which is why I super-value the openings that let me have a ward. Skipping wraiths AND doubles? I doubt it. Or at least I have rarely seen it. Nautilus' the only jungler I know that can't do it (he can, but he really, really, really shouldn't). All the others can.

Or at least I have rarely seen it. It's more common to do that than it is to not do it. You base it primarily off the starting items (i.e. wards) and how the lane is starting to push. There's usually a lane open enough to at least force a flash. It's worth so much more to set someone behind early than to clear wraiths.

Sufficiency, I really don't like amp + pot on morde. Regen wards pots should still be fine for him especially since you can build spectral wraith and in a level dependant lane like mid I don't like super early backs.

Zhonyas core IMO. Except Lissandra already has a built-in zhonya's on that ult
A second zhonya's would be hilarious but it'd be like building zhonya's on elise or fizz or vlad

amp + pot was never a good opening for mid lane just cause everything is gonna outsustain you at that point

i've seen quiiiiite a few zhonya's on vlad in LCS.
i think riot's design philosophy makes it so that playing to a champ's strengths rather than trying to compensate for his or her weaknesses is generally how you build stuff. so if you're invincible, get more invincible.
what i thought was really cool though is that the turret will still focus lissandra when she's supposedly invincible according to the champ spotlight.

Zhonyas is great on Fizz and Vlad 'cause the 2 seconds can buy you precious time for your stuff to come off cd and they're often in the midst of the team fight so they benefit greatly from the tankiness.

I mashed on E while I was inside my ult but I never teleported to it. Not sure how long the E lasts, but I think it's less than 1.5 seconds. I didn't try self casting R, so maybe that would save like a fraction of a second, not sure if that would make the difference.

Building zhonya's is actually pretty standard on all 3 of those champs that you mentioned if you are looking for tankyness/damage.

Which is fine if you just want to stay in lane for 2 waves.

Backing at 3:30 means 4 waves with the 5th just arriving.

I like how Quinn dies in like every fight in the spotlight "highlighting" her buffs. Also RIP many manaless champions

How feasible would it be for an organization (Teamliquid?!?!) to take a promising team of Koreans, maybe one of the 100+ teams that tried to qualify for OGN, bring them to USA and try to qualify for NA LCS? Is there some sort of rule against that? After watching OGN, NA LCS seems like child's play.

That's so disappointing. They need to like increase the range by a slight amount and also lower the projectile speed(to keep it basically balanced the same) so that it works. It's 1 thing to not be able to E->Zhonya's->E, but to not even be able to use her ult to ensure her escape sucks.
Anyhow, does anyone that's played her on PBE have an idea of how mana hungry she is? Passive seems like it won't help that much, and I want to know if she's a tear->core or more like Diana with the D-ring or 2->core without running around bitching about mana every time you want to shove a wave or 2.

It's based on residency not citizenship, so they would have to get green cards or work visas (or something along those lines, I'm not sure how NA work stuff works exactly). Not impossible but there are some hoops to jump through.
