It's just not fun. Honestly, it's boring as hell playing a defensive support like soraka. Play a harass based support like lulu/sona or a playmaker like thresh/leona. My personal favourite thing to do at low ELO if I'm forced to support is run AP/mpen/Ar/(either MR/level or AP/level), 9/0/21 on sona/lulu/nunu and 1v2 the lane, the objective being to KS your AD at every possible opportunity and build tear+philo+kages+sightstone (In some order) if snowballing is allowed. Hilarious to do and most people dont' know how to deal with the harass, especially with the prevalence of doran's blade openings. | ||

It's just not fun. you can win botlane as a good support with a ad that isnt completely bad. And if their bot gets scared, you can actually come mid for a gank, too. Support like thresh, leona, nami can actually make good differences in fights, too. | ||

Well, thresh is just ridiculous, but all in supports are not the kind of play style that lots of people like. | ||
