William "scarra" Li, the Mid laner of Team Dignitas, is the star of the 40th episode of my 'Grilled' interview series.

On Voyboy going to CLG: "He had a very poor jungler at the time. Hotshot has never been one of those junglers where you're like, 'Oh god, I'm playing against Hotshot Jungle, what do I do?' Nobody has ever said those words."

It's pretty much what I would choose for an all NA allstar team, except maybe jacky over link.

Funny that the Scarra team was cutting Hotshot instead of Saint when Voyboy came in, and then jiji gets cut for link (as he ended up being). Makes you wonder!

I think it's pretty obvious that if the team wasn't owned by Hotshot he would've been cut a long time ago. The biggest reason for Curse's success (imo) is how strong saint/Voyboy are together while you can rely on Nyjacky and their bot lane to at least go even against anyone else in NA. Not to take anything away from jacky, cop, and elementz but Voy/saint honestly carry that team.
Meanwhile you have Chauster/Doublelift as the only proven NA bot lane that can compete with Asian bot lanes. Although I wouldn't mind seeing Doublelift and patoy on the same team...would probably work better than Chau/DL because then you could just have saint make all the calls.
You can replace LiNk with scarra or Nyjacky or maybe even Regi because afaik there are no NA mid laners who can compete with top Asian/EU mids.
Also, just wanted to say that this is probably my favorite interview so far. Scarra is really interesting to listen to and top quality from Thorin as always.

Though Patoy maybe better support than Chauster; Chauster + DL has interesting synergy. DL essentially becomes an extension of Chauster when they combo together; and DL simply becomes Chauster. So when Scarra says Chau+DL botlane, essentially he's saying Chauster Botlane.
