No what I meant is that he is thinking through his production, actually all his build order are well thought out. But mechanics is also about how to go beyond that, and how to produce faster, the most efficient way, etc. At some point you need to train it. I remember when I was playing WC3, at some point I decided to be better, and played a lot, grinding the ladder, and focussing entirely on mechanics for two or three months. That's a proccess a lot of people are not doing, they think that just playing is enough to exercice their mechanics, while in fact you need to be completly dedicated to it, and put aside other part of the game : you don't need a build order to be fast or to produce more.
I've had that two days ago, tried to reconnect, and found out I was stuck in a ghost game, couldn't play for the next 2 hours or so lol.

He plays lol (and jungle) and can get away with bad mechanics that's all. In lol, you can win if you have 30 cs less than your opponent, as long as you just know when or how to engage, etc.
I kinda agree with Yango, but it really depends on the person as you said. I have a friend who is really good and use his brain a lot when playing SC2, I barely play the game, but when he comes back to france (he is studying in the US right now) we usually go for a 1vs1 and I always crush him purely on mechanics. Despite the fact that he plays while I don't, his mechanics are not improving while his strategies are always really interesting and thoughtful, mainly because, as he is a thoughtful guy, he doesn't think improving mechanics is also something that needs to be brained : you need to focus on it for a long period of time until it is deeply carved in your hands.
People usually think that mechanics is just referring to the movement speed of your hand, but it's not, it's how your hand is accustomed with what you want to do, and how some action can become reflexes, being fast is not all there is about mechanics.
On the other side, strategy can be really simple, the main problem being how to gather informations, which informations are relevant to what you are doing and how to process them. On some games / position, those three steps can be really easy, on other it can be really hard. Personally, I know that mechanically I'm okayish, but that I have a hard time thinking about the game and asking myself what to do, when to do it, and tend to just let my hand do the game, which is not the correct way to play the game. I'm sure a guy with bad mechanics but better understanding of the game would do way better than me, but forcing yourself to always think through the game can be a real difficulty by itself.
Yeah my posts suck but whatever. It makes sense to me because I just understood that I barely ever think strategically about what I'm doing during games.

Why hasn't Saint improved his terrible mechanics, then? Different people learn different things better.

My personal feeling is the opposite is the case.

Quick question : Is anyone else having weird bugs with the client on EUW ? I've been looking for a game for 15mns and when i clicked to cancel the queue it said I was in a lobby
And now i'm at 5:00 of queue for normals and I had no message for dodging or whatever
Still saying I was in a lobby when cancel, wtf ? O-O
