likewise, gragas mana costs made him god -> shit tier
and mana is the reason rumble and riven will always be too good
HMMMMM

Solution: remove all champion's mana, put all ultimates on 20 second cooldowns.

Ezreal was a staple in Asian play long before the mana cost buff.

asian play wasnt very good at that time, so doesnt mean much. A combination of the mana costs and aggressive supports becoming much stronger, namely taric, brought ezrael into the spotlight. You guys can deny it and be hipsters or whatever, but the fact is that ezrael/sona was the only "okish" lane before, and he became much better once taric/leona became good picks.

The synergy on ez's ult and taric's new ult is stupidly efficient and will always be a good combo

I dispute the idea that Asian play "wasn't very good" at the time of the first season of OGN.

By spring of 2012, several people on TL were making the claim that WE and TPA were good enough to match up against M5, and they probably were right (though obviously there were no competitions at the time to allow confirmation of this fact).

Also, Ezreal's popularity didn't rise out of Ezreal+Sona or Ezreal+Taric/Leona. It came out of Ezreal+Soraka W-spam lanes in Asian play, which CLG learned from and brought back to Western play.

I think we need another forum post which only allows the posting of "minor" tournament stream links.

I've actually talked to Neo about this recently, he said it it was something we should be implementing in the subforum revamp.

Are there special key words in the riot support to get them to read a ticket faster? Or is it just kind of a per basis thing. Because i really dont want to wait 4 days for someone to respond to my account being stolen.

Just had a game with Koggles where I had a Nunu jungle and a Lulu support. Most fun I've had in ages. Dat deeps from Blood boil and then the protection from Lulu, so hilarious.

Also Lulu is pretty strong vs Akali, that stealth prevent E.

While Asian play wasn't AS good at the time, the individual skill, especially the in bot lane, were there for everybody to see despite the overall team coordination and late-game experience not entirely developed. The teams were probably about even with the west at the time (as opposed to far ahead like they are now). EZ was very popular because of the overall midgame-oriented playstyle that Asian teams tended towards in contrast to the afkfarm/turtle of CLG and TSM, which favored carries who scaled better than EZ lategame

Quick thing from last nights troll games with 5hit:

Nasus support may be sneaky really really good. Wither pretty much gives you free reign to go in and chunk someone because of the massive AS AND MS slow. Plus Nasus really likes Aegis and locket and all those supporty items anyway, and his ult gives him a bit of tank to work with.

A Garen+Nasus bot lane shat all over the Twitch Nami lane we were against.

But his W is like all he has though. Won't people take advantage of the window when it's on CD?

It is kinda like a mini exhaust though. And it's ranged, which is a big deal.

I mean, the armor debuff is pretty mean too, especially against champs like Draven and Sivir that have a difficult time getting out of it when withered

His E has armor shred, which is noice too. And it really isnt any different from a support with an abusable CD: what do you do when Bliz hook is down?
